I got my set yesterday and I was listening to it all day long. I love these so much that I don't even wanna listen to my Hifiman Arya anymore, I'm not even kidding, they are that good.
Been using these for 6 months now. Such a large and rich sound. Rock and Jazz sound great with these. I drive these with the Fiio UTWS3 most of the time (BT Amp). Bass sounds very good especially with Rush, Dio, and Iron Maiden.
I get why people say it does have a bit of brightness but honestly when I run it through my schiit lyr3 it comes to life. The tube smoothens out the treble completely and with a little power they sound very dynamic and crazy big. I was using these iems and forgot they were iems. They sound as big as headphones when powered with an amp.

@@mclement052164 Hello! Sibilance is not severe in my listening experience using FD5. My music lists are mainly contain instrument music and Chiniese pop songs. I have both the FD5, FH5&7 and Zen, the Zen is superior to FD5, FH5 & FH7 in every way. The FD5 has some serious treble issues, particularly with consonant sounds- it can be extremely, annoyingly sibilant. Some people call it being a detail monster. No- not for me. Cymbals and high hats sound exaggerated too. I can get used to that. But if you listen to a lot of vocal recordings that are already on the sibilant side, the FD5 is not a good choice.
I thought DLC is DIAMOND LIKE CARBON . So that makes is a beryllium coated diamond like carbon DD. - Right? Pretty sure it's not a PET or whatever kind of membrane with a diamond like coating and beryllium coating.

Also, make sure to try a good copper cable, it might help tame the treble and enhancing bass-mids.
