Thanks for the video. Gang Poppies 11 is the cheapest tourist street in Bali. Last week, I had a one hour massage for Rp 70,000 at Lucky Spa No 3, a bottle of beer at Royal Jacks for Rp 22,000 and my trousers altered for Rp 40,000 at Janoko Tailor. Gary
Nice one Gary I did a similar video the other day in the day time, I had a right laugh making the video I absolutely love Poppies and all the little shops, their owners and then all bars and restaurants…
I was surprised at how quiet this street was during the night, it used to be such a busy street. I was at Atlas beach club yesterday that was so busy during the night.
Hi Gary, great walk down memory lane with Poppies II...glad to see businesses are opening up again. We saw a video earlier about Mie Kober- which seems to look incredibly similar to Mie Gacoan...but all those videos of Mie Kober are in Indonesian, none are in English. Any chance of a video / review on Mie Kober? Thanks :)
Good timing...not too crowded but we can feel the vibes and enthusiastic. Hope that when you make video night walk about Legian from Tugu Bom to Melasti had good timing like this...
@@balibygary9718 I see. But in the USA, Europe, Hawaii, Japan, South Korea, Taiwan, Singapore the store owners do not hang out in front of their store.
@@66tortor yes it is not everywhere in Bali, watch tonights video and you will see completly different shops in a trendy part of Bali where the owners are inside the shops like all the countries you mentioned
Thanks once again Gary. Very detailed.
You're welcome

Nowhere in this area is super busy at the moment. I will keep walking in different locations🙂
I suppose the shop owners have to hangout in front of the store to keep people from stealing?
People hangout outside the stores to try and encourage you to go inside🙂
@@balibygary9718 don't the merchandise themselves encourage you to go inside?
@@66tortor maybe but there are many competition from shops all selling very similar goods along this section of street.
