    About Me:
My name is David Hoffmann and for the last decade I have been traveling around the world in search of unique culture, food and history! Since starting Davidsbeenhere in 2008, I have traveled to 100 countries and over 1,500 destinations, which I welcome you to check out on my TH-cam Channel, blog and social medias.
I focus a great deal on food and historic sites, as you probably have seen! I love to experience the different flavors that each destination has to offer, whether it’s casual Street food or gourmet restaurant dining. I’m also passionate about learning the local history and culture.

I'm a complete & total Afro-phile. I studied Kiswahili in college & was pretty descent at it. But I've long forgotten most of it now since I never got the chance to frequently practice it here in New York. But I recognize some of the similarities especially in their number system. Much thanks for sharing this.

Ironically, having traveled to Eswatni myself, I was just having a Swahili/Swazi discussion today. Personally, I find the most similarities with the Zulu language.
