Helpful tip from this mom: Buy a couple extra Take & Bakes and keep them in the freezer. That way if you can't make it to get one fresh or need "emergency meal", you've got it covered! And they are still delish after freezing too.

Secret Life of Dads bit reminded me of a movie I think titled ‘What to Expect When You’re Expecting’ with a group of dads going to the park with their kids in strollers and talking about this exact thing. Funny.

Now, in my town and in New England where I'm from, there's a sizeable population of people of Irish and Italian descent, i.e. people raised Roman Catholic, and it's a thing that you're not supposed to eat meat on Friday. So for a lot of families, besides Friday night being a "hey let's kick back and chill for the weekend" thing, it's combined over the years with observing that tradition. By far, the people that would come to pick up the orders would be the dads of the family.

Two of the boys around the corner from us (our families are quite close) love pizza. When my little nephew was old enough he began to love pizza as well. So now we have three wee boys who would live off of pizza if given half a chance. And that method of weaning is sort of similar to the way my sister done it. She made meals for her baby and then blended them down and gradually weaned him into solids that way, to this day he has never had a jar of baby food,are fresh and most nights he eats the same as us at only thirteen months old tonight it was Mac and Cheese only difference was his had garden peas in it. (The first time he had fish my sister had to get me to do the blending because she couldn't do it without gagging, it was funny).
I agree with you on sleep i went to bed pretty late and school starts in two days so its the last day I can sleep in and I wake up at 5:30 for no reason and cannot fall back asleep

Not a dad but a mom and my husband think it's funny how whenever there is a family gathering on either side the dads end up watching/playing with all the kids unless it's a baby then that one usually stays with mom. Now that all 3 of ours are in that playing age he gets to watch them all while I get to sit back.

As a worker at a local pizza place, I can attest that Friday is a family pizza night. We make about three times more pizzas on Fridays than any other day of the week.
Basically the graduation situation but at church happens all the time to me. When he was younger it was so he would stop crying now that he is older it's because he wants to run around. But there is usually another dad or 2 in the area.
