Two years and i still hear this robotic voice saying "The Silver Case" in my mind. Many many years will pass and i still feel like this game and the series have a place in my mind. I've lost some friends which used to talk about those games with me, i almost don't see things about the game anymore, and it still has it's place in my heart. There's a lot of theories, but everytime i listen to this when, i just feel like Sumio. Returning to a distant past, maybe painful, maybe with things which i didn't want to remember. But still here am i, having my heart melt and love each moment i lived. Painful or not, returning to those old days without chains locking me to them makes me love every moment. We will kill our past, but after that, we will look into those days and smile a bit. Thanks Suda!
@@poloecrazie wow I totally forgot about that guy. He ended up being more annoying than I expected with those robots at the end. I'll take Morishima over Charbonerie anyday lol
I think this is the song the completely illustrate the whole theme of "kill the past". It's overwhelming yet familiar that you don't know how to digest the whole thing. There's a desire to reverse back but you know it's impossible. So in the end after you try to accept it there's this strange tranquility you get. Just like Sumio slowly realizing his own self throughout the last chunk of FSR. He still doesn't say who he really is but he knows deep down he can't keep denying it anymore.
Like someone said, this song feels full of emotion, full of sadness for some reason. I can't really tell because I haven't played Flower, Sun and Rain yet, still waiting on Suda to make a rerelease of the PS2 version. Still, this song makes me feel both relief and grief at the same time and it is confusing as all hell.
This songs so emotional, I can't explain why but it just feels so heartbreaking. Sumio realizing who he is, what hes done, why hes at lospas, all of it. It must feel so overwhelming, just like how this track feels bombarded and confused. I love it. Edit: 3 years later and im still not over it
"I can't explain why but..." *Proceeds to explain why* Adding onto your points, old leitmotifs are naturally emotional, especially when rearranged. A familiar tune strikes a chord within the brain.
@@khakisohn9710 Why the fuck would I give two shits about that? Caring about whether or not you're "fun" is just insecurity taking over your being. Talk more about Kill The Past or shut the fuck up man, Jesus.
Finally got around the playing this game about a month or so back. It’s such a shame that when I got to the part in the game with our old friend that it didn’t play this full version. Still a bop either way. Still won’t deny I was fanboying quite a bit when I heard this cause I’m STILL binging through these games, love every second of them and that part of the game was one of my favorites in the entire game. The entire endgame in general was awesome.
When talking to Tokio Morishima on the stranded ship. It's worth mentioning that the DS version of this remix is quite truncated, however, and condensed into a shorter loop.

Morishima just like "I was God, man". Mondo "okay great can we move this along?"
After dealing with a French man, can't blame Mondo to become apathetic towards Godly being like Morishima

When I was younger, I loved that game and its OST so much, I took this song and reversed the first 16s in Audacity to loop.

well, after the silver case, 25th ward, and red, green, and blue i'm hoping they'll do some kind treatment for flower, sun, and rain
one of the coolest songs in any ghm game. shame it's not on either of the official soundtracks
I believe it's on 'THE SILVER #02 DESTRUCTOR' remix album, at the end.
@@Fargodeep adding on to that, it's the track "Silver Remix [Bonus Track]", you can get the album in soulseek
