Darn, I never thought about the distortion of being on a smaller planet effecting estimations of distances before. But why are they estimating distances with their eyes? Obviously there is no GPS, but shouldn't they be able to put assumed earth estimates into an app calculating and modifying them into this planet's measurements? They can't do this in their heads.
