    This is amazing. N Scale with sound and smoke. And amazing detail. Love where the future us headed.

    This looks amazing! Really like the bridges too! The scene when it crosses and you see the smoke go through the bridges is really dope!

    What train controller your using on your device to control the trains

    Im thinking about getting one, do you recommend? Have you had any issues with yours?

    • @entourage68

      I highly recommend! Have not had one issue. Probably one of my favorite locomotives I have ever owned!

  • @nicholascamburako7326
    @nicholascamburako7326 ปีที่แล้ว

    Good thing you didn't go through any tunnels with that locomotive... those poor people would have suffocated in your passenger cars from all that smoke! lol
    Q? What was the popping sound heard at time 0:56 and time 1:36? was that the pressure from the smoke breaking through and being released?
    Also, does the cab light automatically go out when the train is in motion (time 0:40) and come back on when it comes to a stop (time 4:37)?

    • @entourage68
      @entourage68  ปีที่แล้ว

      The pop was the smoke beginning to come out. Yes, the cab light automatically turns on and off at start and stop.

    Where did you get the correct liquid smoke for your big boy.
    Great video. Thanks

      Broadway Limited recommends a Marklin low viscosity product. I had some LGB smoke fluid lying around that basically is the same thing and it worked great. Part number LGB 50010.

      @@entourage68 Thanks for the help. I can’t seem to find the Marklin smoke anywhere.

      You’re very welcome, try this link. I believe it is a direct replacement, and it looks the exact same as what I have. www.onlytrains.com/model/trains/8412501.html

    Does it smoke from both smoke stacks or just one , looking good 👍

    • @entourage68
      @entourage68  ปีที่แล้ว +3

      Yes, it does. It just starts usually with one and then the second one begins smoking once I assume the fluid level equalizes a bit between the two stacks and then it kicks in. I would say it usually takes a total of a minute for both to be fully operational and then you have about 4 minutes of total time with the smoke coming out of both stacks.

      Thanks for your response, because I bought one from my local hobbie shop rocky mountain train supply and it only smoked from one smoke stack , I'm guessing it was a defensive smoke unit but the owners were very kind and nice to trade me for another one . I recommend Rocky mountain train supply to anyone any day. and now I have it running and smoking like the real thing man , these things are sweet . Run flawlessly.and smoke beautiful. I love your review .👍✌️

    • @entourage68
      @entourage68  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@samuelweathers8098 I use the digikeijs dr5000 DCC system with their turnout controllers and a Rocco polarity auto
      reversing unit for the turntable. All of that is controlled through the z21 app.

    People are already having issues with this model which is understandable for BLI. The best of the Big Boys is coming out in July by Kato.

      That’s unfortunate, what exactly have you heard are the issues people are having?

      @@entourage68 the side rod pins popped out on one side making the drivers bind and bend. BLI needs to spend more time on mechanical design and less on gimmicks like smoke
