At least they don't have the all night sodium vapor lights like over at Desoto State Park. We use to stay there but couldn't ust our telescope. You are right this is in the middle of nowhere
Yes. Since we are in campgrounds a lot, we tend to like to get out of the campground and enjoy both the nature close by and the towns. We don't generally just sit at the site unless we know campers around us, or, have campers close by to get to know.
I think a child passed away after hitting his head on a 5th wheel kingpin while riding an electric scooter or hoverboard at Wind Creek State Park. We were told this by other campers back in February. This might be why electric scooters aren't allowed.
Yes, we figure that is the case. Some of our friends were in the park when that happened. As sad as that is, that would be a case of overreaction as rules could be put in place about riding them to keep children safer instead of taking that right away from everyone. Just sayin'.
