Many thanks Bethany! With Christmas coming up the next track may not be available until January. Landscapes 1 is now available on voigtstr.bandcamp.com/releases and store.cdbaby.com/cd/voigtstr . Not entirely sure how many singles should go up before the album. I figure keep forging ahead until there are 7-10 tracks total and get the album happening.
It's great for background on some video, but for the song... There's a lot of high pitched noises and stuff, I think that if you reduce them and add some more basses you'll create a great lo-fi style -song- (audio?...) I like some parts but some are a bit more oversounded or in some parts the sound effects just doesn't fit at all. Don't take it as a criticism, that's just my own opinion. 😁
Hi Tony, I very much appreciate you taking the time to leave your thoughts here. I think after I finish the current album I will indeed look into lo-fi, music to study to type music. The current album is very much inspired by the imagery of the landscapes. For me that meant high pitched windy noises and the sound of ice tinkling under the regolith. I guess not very scientific since the air on mars is one - one hundredth that of Earth's atmosphere so any sound travelling in that medium would be similarly reduced in intensity. I invite you to listen to the other songs on this channel and provide a critique of them. I very much value any opinions that people would care to share with me. You might just influence the next album.
Feeling like I'm watching a science fiction movie. I bet Hollywood will send you an offer soon
That's sweet Jing! I'd be happy to provide music for Hollywood :)
It would be nice wouldn't it! I better write a lot more content for them to choose from.
Great piece! My favourite so far.

Yes, of course, it's your style and it's great, the video with music overall is great! Thumbs up!
