hey man just a heads up if the oil pan is aluminum don't use a gasket it will leak down the road only the ones with steel oil pans use gasket with daps of hondabond at certain areas just use the hondabond or the permatex gray rtv and run a bead on the inner side of the bolts all the way around the entire circumference.

You don’t need to kill it with a lot of rtv. You only need it on both sides of the half circle ends. Put a bead on that area until you reach the first bolt hole along with the first bolt hole on the other end of the half circle. When removing your gasket; you would notice the areas where the rtv was put on so be aware of it. I have the dealership book. I go by the book. If your not able to do the job. I suggest you go to a mechanic. Oil leaks near the crankshaft is not the oil pan gasket. You should check where the leak is coming from around that area. It’s not a bad idea to replace the oil pan gasket if you have to fix other oil seals. Don’t replace a oil pan gasket seal if it’s in good condition. You would be wasting money

How much did you torque the bolts back onto the oil pan? Did you have a torque wrench and go to a certain specification or just until it was nice and tight on there

Doing this myself and can't find the bloody specification for the torque if there is one

@@putheflamesoutyahoo1503 seems like a big scam. Hours to do this job? The oil pan is like $60 and if you want to use oem binder 20 dollars. If we are talking about Honda civic car. Ive done this job following a TH-cam without and issues and it took me 1 hour at most.
