Sam and Evan are a pair of the clearest thinkers in crypto. They have extremely based contrarian views that just make sense. I just hope they have enough manpower to make it work out
Such a sweet sui interview for both Evan & Sam...
Great show, cheers
Very based people! Loved this show and great questions by Mert and Garret too
that was a great conversation thanks for the show.
Great video!
SUI 🚀🚀🚀
Guys send the interviewees a decent mic before the interview. His audio is terrible
@38:08 19% fast path means 80% non fast path. parallelism does not seem to get one order of magnitude increase in throughput then?
Any intent or atomic type multi tx cannot be fast pathed right?
Cool tech, cheers
sam needs to have 2 microphones tbh
What’s interesting is that the horizontal scaling via more machines is on the road map, and the existing implementation is “single machine multiple core” just like solana. Who’s to say solana can’t/won’t add the same scaling strategy to their roadmap?
Solana will scale with firedancer. No need for other solutions
Evan is just being generous to say, there is too much emphasis on "capturing value". In reality, there is too much emphasis on short-term "value extraction". This space is too dominated by traders' want of making millions in each cycle off selling speculative hype to newcomers and make them lose money in the bear. WAGMI is a lie traders want to sell. What they really want is NGMI for most participants so they can keep rinsing novices in each four year cycle. It just gives me joy to see these traders getting caught off guard from alt rallies while they have their positions stuck on ETH.
Single fast L1 with atomic composability does it all? When does Pyth move back onto Solana for all the great benefits? "turbine" "firedancer" "parallelism" "fee market isolation" speed of light etc etc etc etc etc.... all surely super duper Great.
So when does pyth move back? They are crazy not to right?
Its Swee not Sou-e, yes?
Yes
Sam get a better mic for next time ty
Its not the mic its his voice that sucks lol
This guy's vocal fry is totally out of control.
