it's good to offer this option but why not have gone all the way by allowing you to keep the original one and have the choice of using the SMA or the original?
@@willay747 No. You can put two 900 antennas or two 2.4ghz antennas or two dual band (900+2.4gh) antennas like the stock ones. Oh well technically you could also put one 900 and one 2.4 but you are going to lose gemini feature. I don’t see no reason to do it. When you want to use 900ghz, select ant1 (for example) in ELRS menu, and ant2 when you want to use 2.4ghz. But you understand you cannot use both together doing this way
radiomaster kept on coming with the good stuff 🔥

If you have 4 ports. We can use both. Why not you keep 4 ports in orginal ? Please
Why make it so that you have to take out the mainboard
where went the original antenna leads all that sudden? is there an internal connector to the physical plastic default antennas?
4:44 they show that you can hide them inside the antenna module. I think a small piece of tape would be usefull.
How do I know which antenna I should use on each RP-SMA connector to run Xcrossband? The low band antenna goes on the right or on the left connector?
Both are dual antennas
@@lonelyroamer So I can put a 900 on one side and a 2.4 on the other? TIA
