Alleged Intruder’s Dad Visits California Home to Apologize for His Daughter

- Surveillance footage captured the disturbing moment a woman allegedly tried breaking into the California home of retired police officer Christina Paul in a scene described as something out of ‘The Walking Dead.’ In an odd twist to the story, Paul said a police chaplain later arrived at her door. He introduced himself as the alleged intruder’s father, she said. "Immediately I screamed, 'No!' and I said, 'You shouldn’t be here,'" Paul said. She said she called police to complain. #InsideEdition

Right
@@Tarlyne it's in the title, he sent to apologise. Probs the title got changed
The homeowner clearly said the intruder's dad went to visit her. She's not obligated to open the door and speak with him even if it was to apologize for his daughter's erratic behavior. He used private information he has accessed to visit a woman who is traumatized and was about to shot someone in self defense. If he wants to apologize he can send an apology letter through the police that booked his daughter.

Unsure what's wrong with the dad apologizing, and thanking her for not shooting his daughter. I think that was in fine taste.
He obtained her address illegally, and tried to intimidate her so she wouldn't press charges.
I didnt think he did anything wrong either.. He was just embarrassed for what his daughter did & wanted to make things right by apologizing

Why is the homeowner being blamed? Reading the comments it’s as if she caused this.
Because they live their lives on the Internet and never experienced anything like this
She was probably just mething around
ok that was cringey bye

The fact that the dad apologized isn't something that should be investigated - its natural decent human behavior. Sad that we live in a society where people cannot deal with interpersonal issues without resorting to the state. If he is a police chaplain and is apologizing for the incident, he clearly wasn't a threat to the woman who had her home broken into.
I agree also wonder if the teacherlost her job
Pretty sure the victim was still terrified and then some guy who possibly has access to a gun is now on her doorstep and wants to be within 5 feet of her. You wouldnt be wary? How can you guarantee he wasnt having mental issues too?
The father didn’t come there to apologize
Thibault Serlet yeah because we have never heard of a cop ever trying to blackmail people so things quitely stay hushed up. Not only that when one cop fears another dont you think there is something wrong with the system. An apology could have been written. Not only that the police man knows where she lives that is already a red flag. Unless he was there to further investigate there is no reason why he should be at her door step. No one is above the law. He broke protocol.
I agree with u 110%
It's simple. Tase instead of shoot. Simple.
I have a friend that had a schizophrenic episode once and broke into someone’s house. Luckily they weren’t home. Later he told me he was being chased by the Russian mob and that was his only escape route. He knew it sounded crazy but at the time he truly believed it. Schizophrenia is a scary thing. I’m not sure if that’s what was happening to this lady but it sure looks like it.
Tearing off the window screen and yelling, "what's going on" sounds like she isn't in her right mind. I'm glad she wasn't shot.
@Dragonfly Design 23 LLC Dee M fhanks for this
The Russian mob? Tf how
If you look up the story, it's just plain old alcohol. Odd that alcohol would have symptoms like that tho
@@bobherobrine3415 Not sure. That's just the story his brain created I guess.
Lady: I WILL SHOOT I HAVE A GUN!!
Intruder: Why!?
Me: *you broke her window and now she has to pay 100s of dollars to repair it*
Well if the court case goes as it should, the intruder will have to cover those charges
Have to pay $200 = take their live, sounds about white
WHY?!
Sounds like a joke
"WHAT IS GOING ON?!"
Me: you literally just broke a window and yanked on a door multiple times for almost no explanation...
“The full force of her body”
(Backs ups and runs at the window like a six year old)
um clear she did if the window broke
for a retired cop she has very little composure. I'm guessing she was forcibly retired for shooting people and claiming she was scared.
" I WILL SHOOT I HAVE A GUN!" *wHy?1/!* The correct response when you break into a home.
F.B.I She was trying to scare the crazy woman it was only a warning.
Chaos Afterlife sarcasm lmao

"Attempted burglary?" Huh??? Look, I in no way condone that young woman's behavior; however, how about she receive _appropriate_ charges, so she'll have at least a slight chance of receiving the appropriate _help._
Unfortunately, burglary is the appropriate charge. Any time you attempt to forcibly enter a property you do not belong at, it's burglary. I know from personal experience that even if you put your foot in the door to prevent someone from closing it, it's still a burglary charge.
@@nickcolleton5684 Damn... Good to know.
@@nickcolleton5684 I thought burglary was about stealing stuff though. But knowing how ridiculous the justice system is, yeah that makes sense.
@@hailbaphomet I used to as well but if you were to take something that would be theft or robbery plus a burglary charge.
@@nickcolleton5684 I thought the appropriate charge would be trespassing along with breaking and entering because burgarly in order to be proven needs the intent to commit a felony like being armed and having a ski mask etc
I think him going there to apologize was a stand up thing to do.
For a retired police officer she sure doesn't have any composure under pressure.

@@SinisterzSanctuary lol
@@SinisterzSanctuary well the homeowner wasn’t answering, you’d probably do the same thing if a murderer or someone was chasing you. Or would you just wait there patiently like “Ok ma’am.....take your time.....ahem...any second now...you in there? No? Ok I’ll wait.” If yes then you’d already be dead by now lmao

How tf is her dad apologizing “inappropriate” 💀
Exactly
Ikr
That's what i was thinking.
The homeowner is an ex cop. She would know protocol. Apparently, it is inappropriate for the family and friends of the perpetrator to approach the victim. There’s always the possibility of intimidation or retaliation, and since the perpetrator’s father is a cop, he should know that. The homeowner was probably afraid of him trying to intimidate her into dropping the charges.
They gave us like zero information.
Schizophrenia, and a father concealing it.

wait she was a police officer but yet she freaked out about the woman’s dad trying to apologize? talk about being over dramatic
It's not being over dramatic if she was an officer before she clearly has seen others abuse their authority and get away with it . So put yourself In her shoes. Wouldn't you be scared ? You say 1 thing wrong the cop can and will do anything he wants , weather its locking her up, planting drugs , or hey even shooting her and calling it "self defence" .
Parents will do anything to protect their child's image, so it really benefits him being an officer . Their kids will do whatever and STILL get away with it .
she freaked out because as a police officer, SHE KNOWS THAT HE'S CLEARLY NOT SUPPOSED TO BE THERE. HE SHOULD'VE KNOWN THAT TOO WTF. 🤦
I wonder why this woman is a retired police officer. Maybe she killed somebody that looked at her at the store.
yea theres definetly way more to this story they arent saying.
