I don't want the surgery right now. Can we settle for a good amount? Or does this have to go to trial for the recommend surgery? A tow truck was involved I was a Uber passenger. Hello I had my deposition yesterday and about a hour after I was done my lawyer called me and told me I did an outstanding job it was a damages only dep. My case is in the December trial pool but he was unable to tell me if it will settle before than in your experience do cases more cases settle after a dep?
I have a mediation in 4 weeks and all I can say is that I am 199% dissapointed how my attorney is handling my case, communication was a complete 0 from the beggining.. My deposition lasted over 5hr and it wasnt stresfull because of defense attorney but because of my law firm who represented me.. For my deposition they assigned me an attorney who passed bar exam maybe like couple months before doing deposition without any supervising or even worse he was doing a deposition on the phone so the zoom had to be interrupted like over 5 times so he can get a good signal, just horrible horrible everything was going downhill that day.. If I dont get a result that I want in 4 weeks he is getting fired.
Don’t settle for less than the very best. All lawyers charge 1/3rd of what they win so if you’re paying the same amount why get a broken old Datsun if you can get a brand new Mercedes
I saw 1 lawyer TH-cam video that you know who went over a case that he settled where after the medical expenses were paid and him his 33% his client didn't receive any money for his injuries and the lawyer didn't see anything wrong with that and I saw another lawyer that when that happened in a case he had he split his costs with his client so his client could have some money for his injury talk about greedy
I guess I was told from the um 5th case manager that they are preparing to “draft” the suit lol literally 30 days before statue is very unprofessional to me. I have a malpractice lawyer lined up now just in case lol
Good evening Mr. Frekh, What happens if the IME tried to say, "I was fine with little to only minor injuries", but I still ended up needing to have an perc discectomy on lumber L5-S1 ( one bilateral epidural) & cervical discectomy c4-c5/c5-c6 (3 epidurals overall). I can't sleep at night, had to quit and change my field of work (was painting/power washing/constrution) to doing office work now smh, can no longer play basketball or go paint balling at this time. All because I was sideswiped on the highway by another vehicle. 250k/500 primary insurance policy. Bergen county New Jersey
I’ve been using my law firm to get my car pick up and drop offs for my Dr appointments and surgery’s and a few days ago I found out that they are billing me $1200 a day for them car services I’ve been getting the last 7 years is this normal or should I make a big deal about it
@@AttorneyArkady what should I do ? They are a very large firm with over 600 million in case settlements and I’ve be with them for a very very long period
@@COINsimp2024 because I was very hurt and I’ve had to have many surgeries and I can’t afford the transportation to the Dr offices and hospitals and I can’t use public transportation so they offered to call my transportation
Of course in total contrast to those “greedy” lawyers who have a “relationship “ with certain offices, you most certainly are definitely not greedy, and would never pay for a case. LOLOLOL yes let me talk smack about my competition to bolster my business. Now THAT’S the epitome of greedy my friend.
If you have a fire in your heart and a passion for the work itself and helping people you don’t need to “talk smack” and you don’t see other lawyers as your competition either. Just focus on doing a good job and helping people. That’s what I try to do.
Sounds like about 80 percent of lawyers in good ol conservative Idaho lmao- this state gets away with so much bs thats why I work with lawyers out of state hehehehe

Yes usually after depositions bc it gives the defense a stronger preview of what the testimony and evidence will be at trial

There are a bunch of research databases but mostly for lawyers only bc they get very pricey to use

IME doctors always say that. You just need a strong trial attorney to prove them wrong before a jury
