The story was really great. I have seen people analyzing the relationship so many times. There is a luck of passion on the male part, this is only my observation. He often draw the line between the two of them. When inside the tunnel when they were discussing the reason for break up, he said the problem started when he went to US. But she said do you think so. She knew they had problems before then. It was great when they are happy and no problems arise but when trouble come he bails out and thus the so called AWOL. No one in their right mind would take being called a burden to anyone, thus the saying I will take care of everything. She was right to break up with him, the scene in the funeral of her friends father she mention she went through a break up which is a lot better than a divorce. This drama has a great ensemble leading with Kim Tae Ri.
I think Yijin truly loved her but for him, the promise made to his father was more important. The responsibility of bringing his family together first was his focus. I understand Heedo too she needed stability and did the right thing to let him go. In my head, Yijin came back for her after he had brought his own family back together again.
