Thanks so much for taking the time to walk us through this process step by step. I would love to see the same tutorial for TH-cam channel headers one day. Cheers!
Every time you sat CCC it makes me think of the clapping rhyme from childhood that goes "A sailor went to sea, sea, sea to see what he could see, see,see...." ;D

Multiplying the document dimensions is a great way to ensure higher resolution. Facebook will probably compress your file when uploading though. Just be aware of that. ^ron

Great tutorial, thanks Ron and Sandee! However, Sandee mentioned that there would be a template to download in the description. Could not find it. Can you share it, please?
Hi there, sorry about that. Here is a link to the thread in the Canva Design Circle, our official FB group. You will find the template with dimensions there: bit.ly/3DwKaoy ^ron
Do you have a video showing how to start with a blank space? I would like to have a cover photo with a transparent background and then drag photos of my dogs onto it.
Would you please share how you made the template? When I start from custom dimensions it opens a blank template but the tool bar does not show up so I'm unsure of how to add the boxes? Thank you!
Hey there, Jennifer! You could send us a message through www.canva.com/help/get-in-touch/contact-support so that our team can get in touch with you about this through e-mail. Hey there, Jessica! You could simply click the "R" key on your keyword, and then a rectangular shape would appear on your design. Hope this helps! 😊 ^gv

Great idea to double the pixel sizes! Have you seen this reduce the quality drop when you upload to Facebook?

Nice 2 years ago. But still awesome.
So helpful! Thanks a lot.
The link included into the design does not work though. Is it supposed to be active after i set a cover image on my page?
Hi there,
no, links won't be clickable in a Facebook banner.

Tx, Sandee, but I would like to request Canva why not create a "Safe zone" Template, so it will make our life easy, tx again for this super tutorial.
Thanks for the suggestion Obaidul, we'll pass it on to the team.
^ron
Very helpful, thank you. How do we get the safe zone template?
Hi CookieCravingPerson, did you ever get an answer? or figure out how to make the template?
@@jenniferfider4223 I don't think I ever did... 🤔
@@cookiecravingperson Bummer!! I'm going to ask again and hopefully get an answer! It's such a useful tool!
@@jenniferfider4223 I agree! Please let me know if you hear back :-)
@@cookiecravingperson Will do!
Can't resize spare in 624px wide. When trying to crop with the mouse it goes to 627 or 625 etc.
What is the solution?
What are the correct dimensions for designing a standard size 71" X 74" shower curtain? @Canva
Thank you
Dimension notes:
desktop - 820 x 312
mobile - 640 x 360
double the size
desktop - 1640 x 642
mobile - 1280 x 720
get the highest number: 1640 x 720
Thanks for sharing your numbers with the community here ❤️
^rh
Would you please share how you made the template? When I start from custom dimensions it opens a blank template but the tool bar does not show up so I'm unsure of how to add the boxes? Thank you!
