I can relate to this song. I understand what it's like to have enough and be sick of the abuse. I hate bringing it up but I can't let it boil up inside. I've dated guys that were abusive. Often times it got bloody 😢 there were even nights I'd either cry myself to sleep or just sit on my bed crying and shaking not knowing what to do and too scared to come forward or tell anyone. Until one day... I finally just left. When I left it was like so much stress and burden was lifted off of my shoulders.
Just wanted to say am so proud of you for finding strength to leave. I lost a close friend of mine to DV so I always try to tell people who've left abusive relationships just how amazing they are and deserving of so much love and kindness. I hope thing are looking up for you now
I'm happy you got away from those toxic people. YOU MATTER. Never let yourself go through it again ! I'm not ashamed to admit that as a grown ass man, I dealt with and got away from an abusive, mentally draining and toxic girlfriend a few years ago and I cannot believe I let myself deal with it for almost 2 years. I finally had enough ! We deserve to be treated the same way we treat them
