Nice vid, awesome tank Ste. Interesting thoughts on new tank, storage for all the extra bits is always a headache.

I'm with your missus...get the paint brush out Ste 🙌😂😂. 6ft reef would be amazing but 8ft has a larger cabinet to put your Apex. Loved the update as always. Keep the content coming on this channel 👍.

Great video. It's sad to pull the reef down, but I can totally understand wh. I would go with the built-in nook tank, which will look amazing.

Had my 250 in an alcove and hated every min of it as only the front side was viewable. Was a blessing in disguise when it blew out earlier this year. I’ve since downsized and have a Waterbox cube in the same alcove on an angle. Now I have all 3 sides viewable.

6 footer definitely mate. Do not do an alcove tank. They look good but are a pain in the arse to do the upkeep. And the 3 foot deep would be frustrating, mines 30 inches and its hard to glue anything down the bottom at that depth

    You should check your alkalinty

My tank is 30" tall and very difficult to access the bottom for cleaning and maintenance (including the glass).

Also a DD reef pro 1800 would be a nice upgrade if you go for a 6ft tank. It will fit your clarisea nicely. It has a stand built like a tank. And also has a separate ato away from the sump and another dedicated chiller/storage/equipment section

You should check your nutrient levels. Your lack of colour is pointing to lack of nitrates or phosphate. And therefore your corals have slowed down their calcium consumption .

does any of your coral essentials stuff have copper in it? u need to do water changes when dosing this stuff

There is Copper in the Calcium + Trace, however there isn't enough for even an ICP to detect it.
Whilst we believe in water changes and the benefits of them, you don't specifically need to do them when dosing any of our supplements.
