Dani Filth came to my attention in the film Cradle of Fear on Netflix. In the film on a computer monitor is a clip from the Chechclear video which is one of the first videos I uploaded onto Documenting Reality years ago. The full colour version.

Have been a fan of Cradle for more than a decade and I still have no idea how Dani is able to do vocals like he does. Though I can always count on them to combine gothic romance and black metal.

Cradle Of Filth was on top form for this album. It’s such a shame Richard (lead guitar) and Annabelle(keyboards/backing vocals) left. It’s really the best they have sounded in years. Literally the best comeback of the past two decades.

Best song since Nymphetamine IMO. I was lukewarm on all their Roadrunner stuff. This is great though, I can't wait till they drop their album late October.
Speaking of October, you guys should react to From the Cradle to Enslaved (Uncensored) or Lord Abortion for Halloween. One for the visuals, the other for the brutal yet poetic lyrics. Lord Abortion is a song that'll make you double check the locks on your doors!
