HI Lauren, I am having one problem with the water Max elevation after I analysis. Kindly please can you help me with these problems, if you can send me an email to sherwan.mohammed@hotmail.com I would be more appreciated, and I don’t mind to pay for your time as well, please. I am looking forward to hearing from you soon.

Hello Mr. John, excellent video, thank you very much for sharing it. I have a question, when you configure the time of concentration for the post development you only configure the sheet flow and the shallow concentrated flow but you do not consider the 5 minutes of channeled flow from the road to reach the pond, the total time shown in the tab The report is 12.64 but you do not consider the 5 minutes of channeled flow, is it something you forget or is it not really considered? Thanks in advance
Really great but I wish the pond outflow had options like Hydraflow extension where you can make adjustments and see in real time the outflow conditions for each storm event
Hi John! Thanks for sharing your tutorial. I have one question. In the “Time series” I put for the fist time (1) “Rainfall Deep” 50 mm in “Unit intensity” San DIEGO 24-hr and the second time (2) “Rainfall Deep” 50 mm in “Unit intensity” Florida DOT 24-hr. "Rainfall Deep" are the same, "Physical Properties" for Subbasin are the same, but in the "Time Series Plot", Total Inflow Volume (m3) is not the same for different cases. In the "Project Options", I chose the EPA SEMM Hydrology method, SCS Curve Number and Constant flow. Why “Total Inflow Volume (m3)” is not the same for different cases (1) and (2)?, in the same “Rainfall Deep” (mm) in Subbasin.
Hello sir! Great video! I am having trouble to find the Qpeak rate, because when i calculate my time of concentration and curve number is not showing what my peak runnof is after i select the storm return period. Instead it is a peak runnof factor below the outlet node in my subasin properties which makes it a little different from your subasin window and my Qpeak is always zero.
Thank you John Sayre. It is the best video tutorial I ever used to teach myself SSA. I have one question, I am using SSA 2018, when I am connecting a pond to the outfall with an orifice and a weir then, run analysis, it gave me error and said outfall has more than 1 inlet link or and outlet.

Thank you for this great video just have the following question concerning the sub base entry why the average was checked instead of the weighted average (area percent ) or one of the of the other options thank you again
Good stuff, thank you! Question: When your setting the parameters for pre-development, the Flow Length should be whatever it currently is in its natural state, not what the standards say (100-300 (ft))? Right, this is natural state.
Yes. That is correct. The only parameter to remember with sheet flow is the maximum you can use it is 300 ft. Now, sometimes its hard to get 300 feet of sheet flow in the post-development condition.
Hi John, Thank you for the video. Is there any way to design for the 1:200 year storm event using the rainfall designer? I noticed that it ends on 1:100 and I would like to analyse other return periods.
Hi John, thanks for this video. I have a question. Is there a way to model a Stormwater manhole that over flows to a pond whenever the storm is 100 year event?
Trying to make the switch to SSA b/c I can see the benefits of having the entire storm design within a single model. Is there a way within the TR-55 Hydrology method to calculate SEPARATELY pervious and impervious coverages within a subbasin (rather than using a composite CN)? This requirement is written into many SWM ordinances in my neck of the woods, and I haven't been able to find a way to leverage the data entered into the Runoff Coefficient input window to get these results. The only work around we've seen is creating separate subbasin nodes for each coverage (sub-optimal approach).

You can actually build a custom report that shows the information you want to see. Can you tell me what your location is? The reports out of the box have been used all over.

My detention storage volume is not working out. I cannot get the pre-development flow with the size recommended by SSA: th-cam.com/video/0VFcj5h-MOQ/w-d-xo.html I size the weir and orifice to get my pre-development flow but the analysis states that the pond is too small and my pond is larger than the detention storage recommended by SSA
The report is NOT everything the reviewing agency needs. This is a BIG problem in SSA as it is hard to get a good summary report out of all the data input. The text in the report is freekishly small and cannot be easily changed. Hydraflow does a much better job of printing reports of what is necessary for a reviewer all while leaving out the "fluff" that most reviewers don't understand. Autodesk really fell on their face with the output side of this. It's almost . . . .SCRATCH THAT . . .ITs NOT worth the hassle to learn the input side if you can't output something that a reviewer can approve?
Sir Arb I have got the following question, can you send me relevant tutorials or answer, please. Model foul flows using discharge units to BS EN 752. is there any example available please Produce Greenfield rate calculations using IH124 method. Allow the application of climate change factors to rainfall data. Typically 30%. Where and how can I apply climate change, please. I am looking for a response from you soon, please. Thanks for your taking time. Kind regards
Couldn't have finished my project in SSA without you. Thank you!
Wow! Thanks!

Very helpful video John, thanks again!
Fantastic video. I gotta design a retention basin this week and this is a big help!

I can't make it work to have two orifice. It has that drainage system has no acceptable outfall nodes and outfall xxx has more than 1 inlet.

So, what is the setup for an infiltration pond design? Also, how can you obtain the treatment flows?
Good .
Sir i want you make one video on designing topic.
How designing in cad after the topography survey of the any place socity etc...

@@Sherwaneng hello! Im sorry, it has been so long since I last used this programm... I'm afraid I won't be that useful. Have you already tried forums?
@@Sherwaneng maybe the user that posted this video can help you
Can I have sample file of this project?
7:50 does this website has data of the rest of the world as well?
How can I get the first episode please?
where is Storm and Sanutary Analysis module in version 2024?
If it doesnt install with Civil 3D 2024 you can download the installer for SSA at Manage.autodesk.com and install it.
