I use a Marshall MG100FX half stack in combination with a Boss ME-70 pedal. For some recordings I prefer to directly plug the ME-70 into the mixer and bypass the Marshall.
Hello how are you! my name is Damian, I'm a fan of Marky, I wanted to congratulate you for your work on this issue and ask if there is possibility to borrow the tracks or the tracks of acoustic and shaker to use in a project, it is fantastic your work, greetings and Thank you!
Helloo man!! Way to go!! I'm also amateur musician, also artist from Finland and MK is my biggest hero. You do very good all recordings and sound quality is really smooth and clear. I was wondering what kind of amp are you using? I have VOX ac30 myself and it got laso great MK sound. Please tell me i'm very qurious.
With respect: More, much more guitar dynamics, please. Listen to those gorgeous riffs and solos on the Making Movies album. They go from barely perceptible to explosions right next to each other. (This album also helped me appreciate the guitar resonator.)
with respect.....You must be kidding man... he says he is an amateur musician and he is doing right by the music... He doesn't have Mark's hands.. No one does...and I'm pretty certain you don't either FMphoto...
@@motorcaster57 I never said it was bad in any way. It would have only *helped* with big dynamic changes. It's a lovely piece of music, tribute or not. The first 2 cuts in Making Movies are among my favorite songs in any album, in part for the clean, open guitar. In this tribute, the last ~25% could have gone much softer and louder, IMO.
It's ahome-made 8 string lapsteel, tuned in A6 (from top to bottom c# a f# e C# A F# E). Basically, it's a piece of unfinished mahogany, with a Powersound humbucker that I had as a left-over from an Ibanez RX-150. Tuning pegs came off a written-off 12 string, The rest of the hardware came from my DYI store around the corner... :-)
Fantastic - even now in 2023 this is superb. Hope you’re still keeping your hand in and enjoying playing 🙏
Just beautiful.
Your covers are second to none... there’s MK then there’s you!🙂
What a talent you have. Simply beautiful. Love the sound of MK.
This is incredibly awesome. I have been a fan of Mark for over 40 years ever since Sultan of Swing. What a great tribute.

Очень душевно
Do you play *all* the instruments seen in this video? :)
Sorry, saw your comment on gear now
