Wow!!! extraordinary talent Francisco Araiza has!!!, it is incredible how a so big and "robust sound" can be managed so gently and charmly.Bravo!!!(he is true master class!!!)
Nice rendition. Araiza has an interesting baritonal sound and yet he does a great job in this aria we associate with heroic coloratura tenors like Blake etc.
I read an interview wel maestro Araiza described his voice as lyric tenor. The interviewer described his voice as light lyric or leggiero. That's one strong voice for a light lyric tenor!
I thinks it's because most of modern lyrics tenors are singing with very small and wrong techniques , Araiza got the knowledge of real voice production with a beautiful chiaroscuro sound. So his voice is clearly balanced with dark and Clarity and it's beautiful. Listen to Franco Corelli , Del Monaco and you will ear some true lyrics/dramatic sound :)
Jadlowker is the best in this aria. Schreier, Croft, Shirley, Hollweg, Rolfe Johnson, Spyres - no one can approach Jadlowker's legato, heldentenor timbre and perfect trills.
Good, but still...Luciano is the true King and owns this role. You never hear him run out of breath or suddenly screaming (like here) or being too soft for the part (like Florez). And woe to all other contenders, the beauty of Pavarotti's voice is unattainable so far.
Una autentica clase de canto mozartiano, excelsa, magistral, dificilmente superable.
This is sooo thrilling 💛💛💛 Love the passion
GREAT imagination, especially with the runs. Araiza is one of those giants of Mozart tenor singing, and it is plain why.

FA's spine-tingling legato on this recording has never been bettered
Bel Canto/Coloratura shall never die

Lieber Paco, einfach wunderbar! Wie gerne hätte ich Dich schon in Zürich anstelle von W.H. gehabt...

De lujo....

claro tienes razon el y vargas son los mejores en este y muchos repertorios,
Bravo - F. Araiza is the best for this song!
He's great indeed, but what do you think of Richard croft's rendition?
And schreier's version? His coloraturas are mind blowing
Provate a sentire Hermann Jadlowker....

@Barone Vitellio Scarpia Yes, it's true
How did you get the production photos? I cannot find them anywhere.

Beautiful voice indeed but no coloratura. Far from Mozart, good for italian bel canto. Araiza is a true mozartian tenor.
A modern day jadlowker perhaps?
