Vichy has, despite its small size, an international echo: "Queen of spa towns", superlatives have illuminated the epic of a small spa Cinderella transformed into a star thanks to a few cures from Napoleon III. Vichy is the Allier's flagship spa resort and an unmissable event in Auvergne! Abundant architecture, a quality heritage magnified by its position on the banks of the Allier, a prestigious opera house, spa centres, parks with remarkable trees, passages that look like the seventh art. All this in an incomparable setting which gives Vichy a charming air of the continental "French Riviera", of a hedonistic oasis that has well digested the end of its golden age of spas.
