I love the Walten Files because it's entirely based around the concept of "show, don't tell". FNAF could definitely learn from this, but I also feel like if FNAF didn't take too many notes and did their own thing (like I said, less is more), then it could be horrifying in its own way, while still being appealing to the target audience. I mean, I highly doubt the series would continue getting the attraction of kids if it just started showing William ripping the kids to shreds.

this is actually incorrect because the faces only show up in the dark. he probably put it over her head to either: 1: suffocate her 2: bring her outside while consious so she doesn't realize she is outside 3: to prevent people who stumble upon her to not find out that it is her body
The return of the pumpkin rabbit has to be one of Walten’s greatest works yet it is a master class in horror and tension and I still Stand by that opinion Id even go as far as to say it’s better than some of the modern horror movies nowadays Glad to see you react to it, Zach love your videos!!

How I interpret the ending: have you ever read that one book of goosebumps? The one where as soon as you take a picture, the kids are trapped inside the picture? The way I see it, when the book was burned the souls came back to take what they so rightfully deserved, justice for their deaths.
Honestly this whole group of kids literally broke all the rules in a horror movie. First off you never supposed to separate especially late at night on Halloween. Secondly waiting outside of a haunted house on Halloween especially knowing that the people that were inside that house were once murderers. And then my final thing is that one kid who decided to be stupid and trust some voice in a room at the end of the house that you don’t even know literally is stranger danger of 101 and they found out real quick.
there were some points where the mysterious house episodes scared me more than the main series. idk, i think it’s pumpkin rabbit’s voice for me also, i went as Carrie this halloween!! very rewarding
Martin has a way of making you feel absolutely dreadfully sick with his horror but the story so captivating you just can’t turn it off, I hate how talented he is at making me piss my pants 🙏😭 also in the final scene when the Watermans find the children the music in the background is the first recording of someone singing which is really cool because in The Mysterious House the song in the background of the final scene is the first song ever recorded
