Wow brought back a whole heap of memories!! I was a falconry instructor at The British School of falconry at Gleneagles...Achterader Scotland.. in 1996.. seeing this old footage at the American School was an instant teleportation!!😀👍
@NATURECAMHD ... I used a Canon Vixia HFS100 that take both stills and HD video. What you are seeing here in this video is only a very small percentage of what is involved in Falconry. In other words, you are seeing the results of a lot of hard work, similar to dressage show.
Wow. How wonderful it must have been to fly these magnificent raptors. I love hawks and would love to paticipate in a hawk walk. Thanks for sharing. What kind of a camera are you using.
14 is the youngest, the actual prey species is more important than size, there are some animals even-though they are small for flight and hurt the hawk more than say a very large rabbit vs a small mink or squire. I not a falconer, but I know that much
Hello, I have a question from Japan. When you tie your hawk to a rope during flight training, do you use a clip? In Japan we just tie rope to jess by falcon knot. Is that the same in the West? If you use some equipment could anyone give me its name? Thanks in advance.
So from what I understand, please correct me if I'm wrong, falcons are best for speed, hawks for power, owls for strategy and wits and eagles for straight strength.
so sorry sir, may I have your guidance, please. I know in general, the female eagle tend to be larger as compare to a female eagle, but may I ask, between a male eagle vs a female eagle, which is more quieter and which is more noiser? a male eagle OR a female eagle? please reply as I need the answer as soon as possible, and million thanks sir.
PhazonXL Productions no evidence has ever been found that says it does. Most of the time before the bells are even really heard it's to late for the quarry.
My dream is to become a falconer one day! I love birds more than anything, even my whole username indicates it! [If you don't know what Aves is, you are not a bird lover! :P]

How money price of this eagle?
Oooh I can't wait to be a falconer someday... my dream is to fly a peregrine when I become a general or master falconer.
Good for you... I was thinking of doing the same, but it's a very time consuming lifestyle when you have horses...maybe one day
I'm glad you liked it, it's lengthy... but not if you like raptors

hi whats the best hawks or falcons and what is easy to train and feed?
zay peace z the best starter birds are American kestrels and red tailed hawks but you can pretty much choose any class 2 bird
Very Nice felcon
no...I think they purchased them from a breeder out in the SW of the USA
hi, my crested goshawk keep calling me every time he see me. can you help me how can i stop him from that please?
thanks
viet pham Was he hand reared by humans? If so, he would have learnt to call when he sees you because he associates that with getting food
can someone tell me the minimum age for this in USA please i need to know
chris the conquerer 16 for most states.
they're too tame
Those bells probably alert their prey that something is coming for them.
PhazonXL Productions no evidence has ever been found that says it does. Most of the time before the bells are even really heard it's to late for the quarry.
With hawks and falcons 99 times out of 100 the quarry know they are being chased they are designed for chase not stealth
by the time the prey hear the noise it's all over
G- job!
i went there and flew elmer
@NATURECAMHD through the hotel
What kind of $ did this cost you?
