Looks pretty capable for the price. But, like you, I really do not like companies that give you an offer of 30 days free as soon as you pay for the first year of service. How do you connect to the network to control the camera if you are not at home?
Camera isn't "2k" like they advertise....under quality option it only shows "1080p" resolution as max and no 2k resolution option.... false advertising

Difficulties on setting up
Everything is good but doesn’t want to connect. Hmm.
I cannot get to view videoo recorded on to sd card
It’s slow and it does not have live streaming
It definitely does have live streaming and I don’t find it any slower than other cameras of this style.
It does have live streaming.....if it is slow, it's most probably your WiFi
