I still have this game, It was surreal feeling to complete, Just hanging around the castle, Poweful enough to melt the bosses in seconds but with nothing left to accomplish
I've always liked Sumner in this version of Gauntlet. He was badass enough to retrieve Garm from Hell, just to send him back. Plus, he was (what I felt) a kinder soul in N64 Gauntlet Legends: if you wanted more than one of the same Runestone, Sumner didn't stop you.
I'm actually a kid still, but we own a N64 and I have the best memories of playing this game with my brothers, sister, and my cousins. It's definitely one of my favorite games out there.
I'm 40 and I remember tripping with this music. I often stayed at the tower going nowhere just to listen to it. Usually after playing it I went to make my many drawings, of dragons, dungeons, knights and what have you, inspiration was easy.
The N64 version will always have the best music in my opinion. Graphics were better on other systems, but because I had the N64 version, I will always prefer its music to the other systems' versions.
@@Lostcontroller If I could get Dark Legacy with the '64 tracks I'd be on Cloud Nine- ...Wait no I wouldn't unlocking the unicorn is torture I hate that level.
Loved this game! Still have it and my Dreamcast. Just found the mail away pewter figures that were offered too for this game. Really bringing back memories!
Found this today at 30 years old because I just found and bought the game at a V-Stock. First time I've heard it since 2004 & remember it like yesterday🥲 P.S. The kamikaze goblins suuuuuck
Damn I'm 27 now and still gives me chills!
A musician made this song popular on ticktock. Sadly no source is mentioned.
We had great childhoods
No we didn-
*Gauntlet; Gargoyles; ReBoot; and 100+ others are entering the chat*
...Actually, maybe we did...

That face when you become a legend. It's lonely at the top...
Me and my brother were legends. Ill never forget when you reach level 99 and sumner says " blue wizard is now a level 99 legend"
I was able to achieve the legend rank twice, hopefully for a third time
@@foehn23 1 of my favorite n64 games of all time.

Gauntlet was never about the graphics, anyway.
The N64 version is the best version.

Kinda wish Warner Bros. Interactive launched this version on the Switch
YES!!!
The greatest Gauntlet game out there. Fuck, the soundtrack in this game feels so far ahead of its time.
Dark legacy is better. I hope you got to play that.
Words can barely express how much I wanna play this game again. THIS version specifically.

Down the magic toilet we go!
I made Red Warrior in Skyrim lol

@@riffwizardsupreme You're damn right.
Kult game! Actually replaying this ony Android tablet via Dreamcast Emulation....still rocks
This game is what started my love for swords and sorcery fantasy games. Rather it be a arpg or open world or MMO. All started with this game.
Insane shit, Yellow Wizard, is about to die (with the shoutcaster impecable voice delivery).
This gives me chills!
this game needs a remake
I wish I could find the PS1 version, all this, plus epic melody. Truly great
loved this theme. always gave my goosebumps
I'm using this for Curse of Strahd right now :D
Gauntlet was my favorite DnD campaign lmao
Ah Yeah, I loved chillin in the tower just to hear this, Thanks for the post! :D
Thank you so much for posting this! It brings back so many great memories of playing this with my brother and friends...
Finally! All I could ever find for copies of this song was the PS version which is different. Thank you!
It was always scary Melody in the game hehe
this game was and STILL IS the shit.
one of my favorite games ever!!
On TH-cam; initially it was all that would show up when you searched gauntlet legends soundtrack.
Thought process
Typical! Now I can't find it at all!
Do you have a link for the PS version? Or where did you find it? Thanks!
Hmm the ps1 version of this song is much better.
Factually wrong.
dreamcast version music was better sounding . . .
Yup. It was more epic..this ain't bad, but it lacks the "grand" solemn feel wen every thing is on the line as u prepare for battle
