Good afternoon! TO SAY Mamamoo is my favorite gg in the entire world would be an understatement! They are just so talented both as a group and individually. They each have very successful solo careers too! They are very into sending positive messages and are just trying to change the way people see everything that would not fit the norm. They are LGBTQ+ supporters, don’t like being put into one category or box, don’t like to follow the traditional beauty standards, and just love spreading the message of being yourself! 👏🏽 Three of the four members decided to renew their contract with their original company, but Wheein did leave RBW and singed with THEL1VE label. She did however decided to extend her contract to perform with Mamamoo until 2023, so we still have them as a group for another 2 years. I’ve linked some things down below to get to know Mamamoo better and also some of their stuff worth checking out. Cannnot wait for more Mamamoo content.

They have SO many songs, but these the mains that first time listeners of Mamamoo usually check out because it kind of shows a little of everything, but with only scratching the surface enough to make you want to fall DEEP down the rabbit hole 😂 I also HIGHLY suggest checking out their individual solo careers, you won’t be disappointed. Hwasa just had a comeback for her solo album Guilty Pleasure. Wheein just had her first solo comeback under a new company (THEL1VE) on 16 January called “Whee” and Moonbyul just released her 3rd solo album called “6equence” on 19 January.
P.S. Since you guy LOVE their live stuff, I HIGHLY recommend their Immortal Songs Melody linked above. It will not disappoint.

The songs fit the member so well because they are able to have input in their music. All of the Mamamoo members have writing and/or composing credits to some of Mamamoo's songs and their own solo songs. Moonbyul has the most credits because she writes most of her rap parts in Mamamoo's songs. I think because they're so involved; they truly enjoy singing and performing their songs.
Would love to see their writing process and how they are overall in the studio. Seems fascinating. We're posting a video on one of moonbyul's new songs this week btw so look out for that ! And that's for watching 😌 - Jodi

Some people won't recommend Where Are We Now because it's a full on vocals ballad but if you loved I miss you, this is might be more your style then some of the super poppy ones. 4th impact covered Mamamoo's where are we now as well and they are vocal powerhouses too. Alternatively, moon byul and wheein just released their comeback solos, two completely different styles both amazing music showing the versatility of mamamoo as individuals as well.

Believe me they have a ton a great performance and song that enough to proved how talented and incredable they are.i love them..From the street to top,from 3 audience to a big concert…they journey so inspired.in debut era people hate them coz they visual not standart enough being kpop idol..solar got reject to many company becouse she’s to old for idol..hwasa got reject coz they said she ugly and fat.thanks for their company for see talent in them than visual..they have unique pesonalities and best performer,talented artist.

beyoncé is hwasa’s #1 idol/inspiration!
she constantly talks about how much beyoncé has given her strength and inspiration since middle school. she even wore a stage costume inspired by one of bey’s!
hwasa got a TON of hate in korea for it, but she basically said it felt like putting on a superhero suit that helped her shift into her “hwasa” performance persona and channel some of beyoncé’s fierce confidence.

Also could you guys please react to Kard Dumb Litty? They are one of the only co-ed kpop groups out there. (2 guys, 2 girls) they write and produce a lot of thier own music. I think you'll love them too.

Chloe Moretz is a MAMAMOO's fan. In Korea, we like them more than any girl groups. Singers n groups loved by all ages in Korea are not famous overseas.

Another must see is Mamamoo Immortal Songs Medley . Its a live concert footage of them performing some classic songs from Korea not their own material but the performance is pure gold.

Still, you're not wrong, since Solar is indeed the leader of the group. She originally was the "composed" one but as she became more flexible, she eventually became the center of the chaos.
Still, Hwasa has actually called her "Mom" in the past (Although more commonly grandma) and she's always trying to make sure they don't accidently kill themselves doing smthn stupid. (Like trying to skate on high heels, two people at the same time, on the same skateboard. .--.)
(I mean the skateboard with the handle, google just translates it to scooter and that's it for my english, so I'm kinda lost)

Omg, Mamamoo cracks me up with their behind the scenes stuff. You should check out the "Loser's Crew" videos. It's just Moon, Wheein, and Hwasa acting crazy when Solar is not around.

Great reaction, your reaction to finding out about mamamoo was mine too in 2020 I was never a fan of K-pop gg as much as they talented the main focus is aesthetics fitting the Korean standards, mamamoo are the real deal singer song writers. Btw huge little mix fan and when Solar said it'll be an honour to collab with little mix in an interview I freaked out lol pity LM are going on a break. oh yeah mamamoo is known for their ability to hype up a crowd, when they did queendom (you should watch if not the show at least their performances) they had one challenge where groups had to perform each other's songs and everyone was too scared to be picked to switch with mamamoo cause they knew they'd have to be just as good at hyping up and engaging the crowd (Mamamoo also always tends to add adlibs or change lyrics for each crowd to make it unique to them), cause a Mamamoo performance is more than just a performance, it's an experience.

I'm sorry but Little Mix can't hold a candle to Mamamoo. It's like comparing a rabbit to a lion.
No offence but I don't think you've been listening to the same little mix we have if you don't think they can hold a candle to mamamoo. Both groups of women are powerhouses and we don't intent to put them against each other. We want them to collaborate. There is no efficiency in attempting to put one down to raise the other up.
