    Well I for one am grateful for this info. I threw up for 1 1/2 years. Got skinny, lost kidney function. Then I could no longer throw up. I’ve gained weight and have been extremely miserable but keep eating like I’m still starving. Was supposed to go on liquids in June. Here it is September and I’m still torturing myself. What you said about breaking up veggies has given me some hope. I’m not sure how I’m going to learn to drink my meals but at least now, because of you, I have a better understanding of what I shouldn’t be eating. I know I’m at risk for perforations/infection. I hope I can do this. Thank you for posting this.

    Can you have this were it only affects liquids you consume? I took antibiotics a while back and now not peeing that much also notice when I drink fluids like chug in one sitting it just sits in my stomach for hours so now I just sip it. Also the upper part of my abdominal is bloated like the part that’s under rib cage. Not sure if the antibiotics caused gastropretis or kidney damage. I only notice it when I drink liquids had blood work doctors said kidneys were fine strangely

      I feel like steak really doesn't bother me at all, same with lamb. I think it's only an issue if it's drizzled with butter, a lean steak or well cooked lamb works well.

    You can't reverse this or cure this. Gastroparesis you don't know what your talking about.

    • @SeantheRD
      @SeantheRD  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      You can manage it and be symptom free but you are right it's not a "cure" type of condition.

      @@SeantheRD you get to the point you can not eat anything and you die from starvation. This will happen after time. This is caused by nerves it's the pacemaker cells that trigger a normal digestion system for the stomach.

      @@Maharlikangdukalpa he's talking about how he's never seen anyone die from starvation in the context of gastroparesis. Stop this autistic literal thinking, I used to do that and thought I was smart aswell

    Thank you for sharing this info.. one of my biggest issues is forcing myself to eat when I’m not hungry. I know I need to eat 5-6 small meals a day but it’s so difficult for me. I usually don’t eat until about 1-3pm and then again late at night if I’m hungry before bed 😩
    Also- I hear a lot about weight loss with gastroparesis but I have difficulty losing weight. I have heard it can cause this issue but it’s rarely talked about… any insight on that?
    I decided to track my calorie intake and most days it’s under 1000, the highest was 1300.. is this concerning??

    My Dr told me to make homemade soups like chicken soup blend them up in the blender to drink because fluid moves they the stomach quicker. Plus told me to get a high protein powder in 1% milk and drink that away

      @TAMMY GIRL don't drink powder or milk drink. Find Califia Farms Toasted Coconut Almond Milk Blend.

      Some people live to eat. Others eat to live. I would take three days worth of meals and put it in a nutrition analysis program like the one on happyforks.com to make sure you are getting enough micronutrients like calcium and iron
