It’s been so long since I hit level cap that I forgot the game had levels. I agree that they should add more. I played when the game first came out, then stopped and I’ve been back for 2 months. If they introduce a sub, I’ll leave and never look back. I simply can’t do another sub. I suppose the game with the occasional moonstone purchase, even while doing Dreamsnaps. If they want to make more money, they need to step up the premium shop game like they’ve been doing… older star path items, interesting house skins, neat item bundles. If they did a sub, I’d expect that stuff for free on a monthly basis.

I bought the lavish pink dining chair from Scrooges store. Then I went to purchase 3 more from Scrooge and received the invalid item notice and two days later and it disappeared from my furniture collection. Oh, also the twitchy heads is a problem. I'm really hoping it gets addressed soon.

I'm a poor student. I can't afford doing a subscription for Dreamlight Valley, so I'm definitely against that idea.

You can get up to 12,000 moonstones. But that’s I think only for the top 3. The most I’ve gotten is 7,000.

I would rather welcome more levels for the character itself and besides that more levels for the friendship system with the villagers would be neat or more interactions in general with them. The monthly subscription situation would be a thing that I wouldn't like because as you also stated which I can really rely on is the fact that we already paid for the game. I would gladly buy future DLC's but in the moment a subscription takes into the game at that moment I couldn't play the game how I want because there are days where you have other things to do or just want to play other games but there will always be that thought like hey you have to play dreamlight valley because you are paying for it to play and you don't want your money to be wasted which would take the fun away (just my personal thoughts).

Increasing the level cap for characters would mean they need to create extra quests for every single character in the game + it would be harder to level them up + it doesn’t make sense

They added a monthly subscription to DDV it would kill the game just like what happened to speed storm when they monetize the hell out of that I made it basically pay to win now for events and stuff. I think that’s one of the main reasons why they backtracked and made DDV not a free to play a game. They saw how many people dropped off from plane speed storm after they started monetizing it the hell out of it and make it a free to play.

I won’t pay monthly for this game. It’s not worth it. The game has become to tedious to even bother logging in everyday. The 50 moonstone chest isn’t enough to get me back daily, not when it cost more then 350 moonstones for an item…it’s not even enough to buy one thing a week. I’m fine with my Stardew valley (who has a creator that cares about his players) and animal crossing.

No one cares about the moonstone chests tbh. The only way to earn moonstones is the weekly dreamsnap challenge. As long as you make a decent looking photo its east to get 4k moonstones every week. The items rotate. Don't need to buy everything just save for what you like. Just make sure to spend an hour or 2 per week making a good dreamsnap and done

I'm not going to speculate on something that may not happen, seems a waste of time to me....I'm enjoying the game as often as I can, in this world nobody does anything without wanting compensation for it and video games are not exempt from this modality....the world turns on a person's ability to recognize profitability and GL is no exception, as a consumer our only power is in our choices....which we will exercise IF this game ever goes to a subscription 🤷‍♀️

As much as I love the game I can't justify playing it with the paid DLC. Yeah I can ignore it and buy it later but it kind of takes the joy out of playing the game. Plus I don't really have much of a purpose to play anymore with there being a cap at lv 40. Because as much as I love to mine for ore and harvest crops to sell - these both get tedious after a while. I don't know, my interest in the game lost steam just like it did with Animal Crossing New Horizons but for games like Fire Emblem Fates and Animal Crossing New Leaf (both for the 3DS) I would spend HOURS playing and not getting bored of them. I was one of the early access beta testers and got the Ultimate Founder's edition so I got everything and finished the main storyline and leveled up my character already so I have no clue what to do now. If it goes to a subscription to play then I'll officially stop playing it. I can't afford to pay for a sub while also shelling out money for exclusive DLC.
