help me please!!!!! why when i use RGB mode i cant use filter gallery, Why do the filters from the filter gallery not work when I choose the RGB mode? If I choose the gray mode, the filters work, but I am unable to achieve this effect by turning off R G B separately in the layers???
Hello! I have some issue at 1:17. When I'm going to change the RGB color channels, it doesn't work for the blue because the halftone pattern filter doesn't allow this color (when I hide this filter, I can see the "text" layer in blue). Actually it seems the RGB colors channels are bugging. It doest't work for all the colors (first blue and red). I'm on RGB / 8 bits mod. Any suggestion?
i will help you out buddy 👌 first check if your project is running rgb colors not cmyk (view - proof setup - Monitor RGB) second step right click your smart object - blending options - check color overlay - change color to white - and set your blend mode to Color Dodge. Should work now
@@slicksii8195 Thank you! Well, I managed to change my project on Monitor RGB as you suggested but the second step doesn't work. Actually, my RGB colors channels don't make any sense and are going crazy. I can't find the source of the problem.
I am having issues 0:57 as when I apply the halftone filter, the effect does not take place. I have tried many times following the video as closely as possible and cannot figure out why the effect is not applying or previewing. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
@@PANTERvision Thanks for the reply. Yeah, working with a smart object, tried a few other things too. It's weird because only about 70% of the filter effects in the gallery seem to actually apply to the layer. I will have a play around and see if I can figure it out!

Interesting, it should work if your on smart object. Or might be some error?

@@PANTERvision Fixed, I had to use a much larger canvas size then all the effect works as expected. Keep these videos coming.
@@musketdnb Great job! What was your canvas size before?
@@PANTERvision 1000 x 1000. Then when doing everything the same but in a 3000 x 3000 canvas it worked.
