There is a setting for the LED’s in the settings, default is ”auto” which meansit turns off the blinking LED’s when you hit record. It can also be set to on or off.
Well I think you are not understanding. The front white sign is actually the lidiar working. The normal obstacle avoidance which is in red is the one that is not working. Normal obstacle avoidance does not work at night, only lidiar at front works during low light. Making this drone and upcoming flip one even better than the mini pro.
Does a really good job. Nice. I think it's better than the mavic 3 classic. It handles the over exposure of bright lights better. Changing fps did not let more light in, it has nothing to do with exposure. Doesn't matter how slow or fast the frame rate is, the image will only ever expose to shutter speed and ISO unless there is an aperture, then it's all 3 combined. Frame rates are totally separate to exposure.
At first I was confused. I fly at night with mine and it has performed wonderfully. I fly mine from my front porch at night and when I hit return to home it will miss all the trees (not that many) and come up under the porch and land beside me. But I’d much rather fly in the day time. Great video!
Very nice 👍😀. I love the night flight 💯😁. The lights were very visible and you can see it from a distance. Looks like the wind was really blowing pretty hard during that time. Thank you so very much for sharing this video Henrik and God bless 🙏. Have a great weekend.
Ironic that the dark bits are usually were you can really see night time image quality - Specially after youtube compression. The 3S did well. That being said, as somebody who's flown A LOT with infrared cameras at night, "seeing in the dark" is something different to me 😋
Question (I couldn't find it in the technical specs from DJI). Whats the weight of the complete Air 3S Combo with the RC2? I want to compare to my Mini 3 Pro Combo set. I hike a lot, so 1000g more would be a dealbreaker... Thank you!
I would never buy the air 3s as a drone for hiking. The air 2s was on the limit for that and this one is heavier and bigger. I would take the air3s on a hike if the place i'm hiking is 100% worth it to have my best camera gear or the wind is too high. Every other situation the mini 4 will be king
I think the reason for the drone drifting when you tried to land it was that you forgot to turn on the auxiliary light. If it isn’t turned on, the drone won’t be able to see where it lands.
thanks for the video. sorry if i overlooked this: didn't hear you mention if you were given the ship, or is this independent video/purchased with own money? It's a shame this is important info, but we've all learned new product reviews do not always reveal all the pros and cons of ships. It can be exhausting trying to decipher real info/features for folks trying to make an informed purchase. on to the ship!! do i understand that DJI has eliminated "Night Mode' video that we've gotten used to over the years? sounds like the 3S automatically enables their low-light noise-reducing algorythim now? a previous video mentioned the night/low light quality was surprisingly bad, and perhaps thought the 'Night mode' wasn't working or something. love you insights on this
I might have forgotten to mention it in the heat of the moment, but the video is labeled, and it’s mentioned in the description. I know this is important to many, so you won’t hear me say buy it, but I try to simply show what it can do-both the good and the bad. There is no night mode, and I think it’s part of the normal HDR setup. Overall, I think the performance is decent.
look into the bit rate, it's lower than the air 2s, doesn't do 5.4k, and is way heavier. I don't see the improvement except for needless bells and whistles.
5.4K yes, but not very useful on any media. I’m not arguing you should upgrade, just showing what it can do, so not really sure why you would bring this up
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA because with 5.4k you can edit dynamically and scale down to publish HD for far better imagery. That was the entir5e point of it...still is. Same goes for the 8k race, if cameras are the reason you use drones it matters.
Mavic2 had one inch sensor and great low light photo capability but poor low light video. MAVIC 3 has awesome low light video. This air3s appears on par with MAVIC 3. Fun to see how dji improves over time.
The camera does not have internal end filter. Also, it's 30 MB per second.Slower record time than the previous model.Additionally, the one inch sensor does not match the 70 mm.Cameraso, you'll have different sensors.Unmatching footage you will shoot footage that does not match with this camerat j.I were very lazy. This camera needs internal ds and i'm matching sensor size for both cam
Nå - så du fandt lige mit Kp-index billede 😃 Den gør det rigtig godt som aften/nat drone, så jeg bestilte også en Air3S i formiddags, det bliver fedt legetøj i den kommende mørke til 🙂
What other drone has a proper night mode in your opinion? As far as DJI is concerned, well, where from are you drawing your conclusion that this particular drone has no proper "night mode"?
@Moto_Yelt well what do you do with nice gorgeous night mode if obstacle avoidance does not work on air 3 nor minin4 pro? The air 3s and flip are the only ones with proper night obstacle avoidance despite not having gorgeous settings. Though as you can see night mode is impressive
Mange hilsner Frank Hi, I've seen the whole video. It was exactly the end that was important to me. My next drone must have the position lights, because I also want to fly at night. With the AIR3(s) or Mini4, an additional light is now probably superfluous. With a C1, the weight doesn't matter with an additional light - but not with a Mini 2SE C0. Greetings Frank
3 mins in, wow that night performance is great with little to no noise ! Impressive
Yes it cool product - I really liked the Air 3 with a few caveats, so I will love this one too
@@markybyeahit doesn’t have night mode like the air 3. I agree with you
Tho. I expected better
We want 360 LIDAR!!! 😅
Right now it’s got a front sensor dictating everything at night
Lol agreed
Install omni flashlight problem solved

probably the reflection of the door is causing the lidar to not work properly.

The Lidar does not apear to help at all, maybe need an update also onscreen indicator lidar is on or off.
Thanks

how i can enable HDR mode in Air 3S? and how i can use 2nd camera?

Is it automatically applying sharpness and noise reduction? I heard the night mode is automated now

Why you shootings in log!? That’s where you get most dynamic range??
Why not? I do that some times
@@TECHDRONEMEDIA Sorry, I meant why are you NOT using LOG? You were in 'normal' mode. Not LOG. LOG will give you better dynamic range than normal.
My air 3 looks the same at night

Only the lidar
Why don’t you put on night mode
Night footage is amazing. But, that drone is too expensive. I have DJI mini 2 and it is poor in recording night scenes.
Coppers in the uk will have these if they haven’t one already
