The France surrender joke in 0:38 is not meant to make fun of France’s defeat during World War II. Instead it makes fun of France players being notoriously bad at the game which causes them to be taken over by one of their neighbours most of the time.
Please don’t get offended over such a minor joke, I make fun of all countries equally :)

All of this was pretty accurate, especially the Italian part. They always conquer the balkans and libya and occasionally other stuff, but rarely form roman empire.
Forming Rome was one of my first-ever RoN goals, and man was it hard to get there. Now that I know the strategies I can do it semi-regularly, but just about every other Italy player I ever see is completely useless.

@@typicalperson6389 it may change now as I noticed an influx of Balkan players forcing me to adapt, but I like to invade the balkans for money, take over Spain or Turkey for land, then use this already-powerful Italy as a springboard for further ambitions

Even I did notice it, France either get taken out by all its neighbours or just leave after being capital sniped, it's pretty reasonable xd
When I play as France I try get Sierra Leone as quick as I can and I start analyzing other European countries mostly uk and Germany who will try to invade me first and when I get declared I try to make tanks as quick as possible, make some artillery just in case and try to fortify the capital and mostly if it is Germany because it is on my border so if he is a noob and uses infantry I can try to entrench the tanks at Paris, make more and directly go to the Rhein because maybe it’s a average player who was tryna making tanks but meanwhile used infantry ( ngl that happens often to me when I play as France but after I camp Paris a little more he peaces out and goes for other countries but when he peaces the most probably is he got bored of spamming on me or he started lacking resources but i still accept because it’s hard to keep camping Paris mostly when the uk also declares ( also happens often both Germany and uk team up to try invade me or they tryna see who invades me first) then I need make submarines wich is a pain and I keep camping Paris cuz Germany and uk players I faced most times didint flank my factories they mostly attacked other cities and proceeded to try and flank my capital but like Germany the uk player peaces out and this one has more reason for me to accept him withdrawing because with me tryna make the most tanks to protect Paris as possible making ships is very hard and because it is B r I t a I n it’s hard to chase em to London so I at least hold them until they withdraw and I never played very long time as France but if I once play a long time as France and I find myself at war with us and Germany I’ll just use this strategy and wait until I can recover and take other countries around me so I can make more factories and have more biomes and regions to flank enemy troops with artillery
I don’t like when the only thing to say about a country is that they are weak and surrender whenever they are the greatest historical military country of the modern age. They surrendered 1 time in WW2 when they honestly had no choice

I feel so violated by the last one 😭 I usually play neutral but the one time I played South Africa I formed the AU and basically did nothing with anybody the entire time
Sorry to burst your bubble, but that’s quite literally… the truth. South Africa is so isolated from the action they do nothing the entire game

The otsly one is so true I was playing Ethiopia and Italy attacked me he made ground but eventually lost all his troop then I made an alliance with Egypit and he closed the suez of but bold Italy wanted me so he attacked again and failed he did it one more time before he gave up
The Poland one was really accurate
I fought a Germany player once who just threw like 200k infantry and 400tanks at me who had 800 tanks and close to 200k infantry entrench and then he lefy

I find fascinating playing as south Africa, as i dont have to worry about war with other country until like 2024 most of the time
The only real threats are Nigeria, Congo, and Egypt. Colonizing Europeans come late game a lot, and sometimes annoying brazillian troop spammers invade you.
