Street Fighter is the superior franchise overall. Mortal Kombat has had multiple identity crises and was silent for 5 years. Street Fighter is consistent in its identity and doesn't need to be over the top with violence, nor does it have to rely on pop culture to maintain relevance. Mortal Kombat was inspired by Big Trouble in Little China and has never had its own true identity.
This would have been a somewhat worthy debate when MKX was the current title. MKX sailed away with MK's potential a long time ago, and now we've been gifted an unbalanced doodoo ass game with a halfbaked assist system. The incoming DEI fembots don't help, either. Sektor is Chinese, Cyrax is African, and they're both pipe swinging dudes.
My man, I have to agree with you all the way, very good commentary, keep the content going and don't give up. You'll make it big if you are patient/dedicated enough.
I disagree with most of these points. Ryu by himself is in more media than mortal Kombat characters from mobile games, puzzle games, costumes for mechs, monster hunter, power rangers. I also feel the gameplay is way better in street fighter. Mortal Kombat is flashy but when you really examine what the characters are doing is very surface level. Street fighter has tons of depth in every installment and not every character plays the same. Mortal Kombat aside from moves loooking different all the characters play relatively the same. I also think street fighter takes the cake on special moves. Most of the moves in street fighter are iconic. Hadouken, Spinning Pile Driver, lightning legs, sonic boom etc. fatalities are essentially glorified cutscenes.
@@GameCircleTv Mostly due to gameplay and the game balance itself. Mortal Kombat always mostly relied on combos. Every meter was always a strong move or something usually. This is the first time it has something new with kameos. While street fighter always had more than just combos. Relying on the game. You had to be good at parries. Good at footsies. Pressure. Ect. Every street fighter game is so different and it always brought more excitement to me than MK did
Sorry bro. Summary of SF6 is : Punch, Punch, Drive Rush, Punch, Kick and super move. MK11 has tons of variations and much more things u can create. SF characters experience feels so similar to each other. But MK characters have very different experience.
Simple: Mortal Kombat if you’re more interested in a cinematic world with easy casual gameplay. Street Fighter if you like more competitive gameplay and a relatable simple cast
MK animations have not evolved, or barely evolved they have a stiff (amatuer) animations to try to depict impact. while they do have depth in their story as a fighting game thats not that all that makes a fighting game. despite the characters they're very flat. it took them years to make characters independent, subzero, scorpion, rain, ermac, noob, cyrax, and sektor are all palette swaps, even the female ninjas were palette swaps. even though ryu, ken, dan, sean, gouken, akuma, all are identifiable in their silhouette.
Which two gaming series should be next?

@@Maykholiv much appreciated. Thank you for the kind words and the support. I will definitely continue
@@GameCircleTv I'll stick around then!
@Maykholiv which other two game series would you like to see?
I really like street fighter but MK fatalities are fun as well, Tie in my opinion

Street fighter easily imo
@@visionee1025 Good choice. Can you tell me why though?

Both (Just in my opinion).
Hard to choose right?

Simple enough and makes sense
Beat in background?
Ehh to each their own
But great content for two phenomenal games

Street Fighter wins in gameplay/fun
MK wins in characters/lore
I'm going with Mortal Kombat
