Classic! The 80's had the BEST movie soundtracks! Real bands playing real music! And usually it was a brand new song written for the soundtrack so it made you want to hear it more!
Its not Nightmare, but, its not terrible.I'd fucking kill for horror to go back to the way it was in the 80's and early 90's..Before the same guy ruined everything with Scream..
Oh Man, I still have this soundtrack on cassette. I played it so much that the ribbon broke and I had to use scotch tape to put the ribbon back together! what a great, great soundtrack! Brings back so many memories!
Paul Stanley, Phantom of the Opera, Live to Win, KILLED it with his voice for 40 years before the struggle began…and he STILL gives EVERYTHING he has. He is UNMATCHED. No other male ROCK STAR has done what Paul has. Listen to SOUL STATION. Case closed. He is THE icon.
This song brings back some great memories. I love a lot of the metal nowadays, but there's no genre like this, except maybe power metal. We need more music like this!
Saw the movie back in '89 when I was 15. More good memories.... I like the lyrics verse that says, "Winter's coming with its cold compassion"! It'll start to cool down soon. Thank God summer is over with the hot weather.
One of the best horror movie directors ever made on earth : "A Nightmare on Elm Street", "The People under the stairs", "Scream", "The Last House on the Left", "The Hill Have Eyes", etc. But one of my favourite is certainly "Shocker" and "People Under the Stairs" also....We'll miss you Wes ! There ain't no more movie directors like you these days...
You know that Craven designed it to be a franchise and believed that Pinker would replace Freddy. He kind of did it all out of spite because Bob Shaye took the Nightmare rights away from him. Craven failed LOL.
I still have this on Cassette lol! What a great soundtrack! Shocker, Love Transfusion, oh man DEMON BELL by Dangerous Toys....I gotta find this on CD if I can

Last year at the local comic con both Mitch Pileggi and William B Davis (Cigarette smoking Man) were in the same booth signing autographs. When I saw Mitch Pileggi all I thought of was Horace Pinker. I grew up watching this movie.
The opening scene that this song is featured in is awesome and I hope it gets posted. i didn't know enough about KISS to remember that Paul stanley and the Dudes of Wrath did this soundtrack instead
I love this film just as much as this soundtrack! I love the 80’s & I’m also a huge KISS & Paul Stanley fan! Paul Stanley’s voice was very strong here!
Saw this movie while living in the state of Illinois back in 1990. Lived there for 2 months before returning to my homestate of NY. Extremely Undrerrated Movie of Epic potential(They could've capitolized on sequels or even a tv series for that matter) but somehow the mainstream viewer masses just didnt/could'nt comply with the whole concept this film brought forth.
I got my neighbourhood nick name after this movie so it’s a special song from a special time in my life and brings back an insane amount of memories. I was so obsessed with this movie that I was retelling it in fine details to everyone one I knew until they finally started calling me Shocker and it has stuck with old neighbourhood pals until today lol 😂
Desmond Child, Kane Roberts and Paul Stanley...Amazing
With Michael Anthony, Rudy Sarzo, Tommy Lee, Vivian Campbell, A dream team !
I love this movie, I dressed up as Horace for Halloween, went around calling everyone pis-ants!!!
I absolutely love how Paul Stanley just takes over the verses and the song
Paul Stanley has one of the most epic voices of all time!!
He had an amazing voice back then.

Paul Stanley hit his stride in the 80s. The perfect intersection of ability and experience.
This song has not aged one minute. Still an all-time great.
Awesome song and movie. I remember it was promoted quite a bit when it originally was released.
This song almost makes me want to watch that film. Its just an awesome and catchy song.
@ChaosTicket you'll waste your time. Terrible flick, entertaining parts but a bad movie experience.

Horace Pinker slashin' and a killin' to the sounds of Demond Child and Paul Stanley. Awesome!

Oddly, I bought this CD at a Big Lots when I was a teen. Lol. Played it on repeat.😊
Paul and Desmond, magical union, what can I say. Perfection! We will write our own story...

He died before my 18th birthday. And I wanted to see him while I was in college.
Great voice, great lead, great harmonies, just a great song.
This song is epic!
I would have watched Shocker 2 so hard.

@Sticky Situations say that again without crying
@@TheKrimeScene personally I find Pinker's scenario a little scarier cause you dont have to be asleep to be killed

This song is not the same without the dolby equalizer in the beginning. I'd make that my ringtone if I could.
Lyrics :
See the Shadow of a Stranger
Turn around, your life's in Danger
This crazy world is in a grave Situation
Check the Children, are they sleeping ?
Will they wake from the sirens screamin ?
Don't blame the Heavens this is man's creation.
[Chorus]
Shocker ! Shocker !
We're led like Lambs to the Slaughter
Shocker ! Shocker !
We're in the Fire and it just getting hotter
See the light it's the City burnin'
The homeless Shudder cause the leaves are turnin'
Winter's coming with it's cold compassion
A killer's loose and the dead stand trial,
Cause God's the only Witness on File
Man's Inhumanity to Man's in fashion!
[Chorus]
We will have the Power
We will have the Glory
In our shining Hour
We will write our own Story
We will have our own World
We will have it our Way
Standing like a Tower
The Sun will shine on our Day

Early connections of Paul Stanley and Eric Singer. Eric made a cameo in the movie, and here's Paul singing the title song.
Eric had a cameo on a tv screen in A nightmare on elm street 5 The dream child.
Nice song. Too bad we don't see Paul Stanley perform it.
Vivian Campbell wasn’t the only guitar player on this. There’s Guy Mann Dude too.
