Hello sir I watched ur video regarding spindle install very nice, can we install new plain spindle with removing engine from chassis, i have 2008 model standard 350.

Spindle fixing will be perfect only if we install it after dismantling engine.. we actually install a small bush inside timing cover and line bore the bush and spindle bore to single axis.. that spindle will stay longer..

Wrongly set in the way that the timing marks doesn't match, then starting trouble will be there.. clearance between gears won't cause starting trouble

Check the dimensions and fix as per the required tightness.. or if polish it to the required dimensions

Removed spindle values should be measured by a micrometer.. measure the available one's dimensions.. fix it in a lathe and polish with suitable abrasive papers or use a toolpost grinding system

I have installed aftermarket spindle eccentric in AVL ENGINE. Now if I close the timing cover and after tightening the screws the cam wheels are getting jammed. An extra gasket will do the job I have to replace the spindle.

We have to check what is the root cause of that.. if after the extra gasket it's okay then leave it..

@@torqrestorers I have actually diagnosed the real issue. When I adjust the backlash of the cam wheels and tight the spindle lock the spindle bulges inside the cam making the cam less free but still the kick is going smooth. The clearance spindle and the holes of timing cover is very tight. So if I forcefully tighten the timing cover the sleeves bulges more inside the cam wheels making them jam.
I think little bit of grinding through sand paper will do the job.

Fixed cam spindle is the best for old bullet, but should be supported in timing cover...

Spindle base is welded and turned to hole size .. no need to change to standard

It should be changed. Remove the push rods and the cam wheel Backlash in various positions.. if the Backlash is between exhaust cam and pinion, change the pinion wheel to next oversize
