    I'm sure I already said this, but man does this sound like the halls at Berklee College of Music!! This video is awesome Walter.

    Cool! I love the old clips. You looked SO young Walter! I sent in my enrollment package and audition tape for MI in the late 80's. I was accepted but had to pass due to lack of housing funds. One my deepest regrets in life.

    I agree about having a Plan B and C. I retired from the Army Band field even after leaving it twice to pursue music. and returning. Also, I have a degree in Elementary Education and Grad credits. I teach and play music professionally evry weekend. My wife has degrees.

    You must have been a passionate student full of ideas and already accomplished. No wonder this student would become a great guitarist and arranger 30 years later.

    What guitar is that?

  • @luis_in_focus
    @luis_in_focus 15 ปีที่แล้ว +3

    Well, I have a Masters in Economics and a MBA. I make enough money every year to buy you three times over. I'm an MI alumni, but after realizing what crap the music industry is I decided to attend a real college (USC) and get a real education.

    • @davismf5937
      @davismf5937 7 ปีที่แล้ว +12

      Well, money clearly didn't buy you happiness.

  • @luis_in_focus
    @luis_in_focus 15 ปีที่แล้ว

    Ah, the possibilities of a MI degree/certificate. Theres Burger King, Wendys, McDonalds, Taco Bell, Arbys. So many possibilities!
    Go to a REAL college and major in something useful.
