Yeah I know what you mean! I remember records I couldn't sample. Best you could do back then was sample R and L inputs seperately if its stereo and then filter and EQ the shit out of it. Remember the voice remover from Radio Shack. That little box really worked but would amplify or attenuate certain instruments in a song or leave the voice on sounding it got recorded underwater.
The question is what would the Roger Linn version do that the others don't?how good world the converters and the sound quality be compared to what people think of the sound of the SP-1200,Mpc 3000&4000,and the ASR-10? Would he be able to get better components today from China, etc, versus what was available from Japan back then? Would they create a machine that would beat every drum sampler or would they try to beat the Yamaha Montage and latest Fantom? Who would create the sound samples that would come with it? Etc. I asked this question on Roger Linn's video and got nature for it. Then the guy called Roger directly.thats not a good look. But it's whatever.
My conversation with Roger Linn was back in 2009 about 8 years before the release of mpc x. So we would have been working with 2010 technology back then Now? 2024 technology The Sky is the limit.
You helped make the MPA app on Android?, well it definitely looked and function like a MPC however sadly it kept crashing on My Galaxy Tab A so had to delete it. Let Me know if there has been any new updates and fixes, then I'll give it another try.
@@HOLLASOUNDS in that video I talk about why I'm not work on the app. Basically google breaks the code with every update. Fixing every time would mean I would never get a break from coding
@@supreme7g Ahh I got you, I'll watch the video, shame because there are other music apps that have been abandoned due to the same reason. My suggestion is to port your app to windows and make it open source so anyone can edit or fix the code, if your not going to do it, someone else can.
Peace from Canada. Always a breath of fresh air to hear your Sonics

Supreme what’s a stem beat? I’ve been sampling for years, never heard of stems. Help me out bro
MPC has stem separation
Just do a search on TH-cam for mpc stems.
There tons of videos .
Check out the akai videos on stems.
Thank me later
Stems are the tracks separated. Like vocals separate from drums and melody.
Track's
I’m on the mpc live 2. Waiting for stems on standalone
