There is soooooo much irony and drama going on in this song, and I am here for it ! I especially love how the meaning of the lyrics is established in one line and bitterly undercut in the next, then veers into delusion in the chorus

Great reaction...I' m so glad you liked my country's entry this year, cause it' s pretty clear that you are a very good musician and you understood the quality of the song really quickly... I'm so happy for that, because I had my doubts especially for the vocoder
6:23 I love that moment too! Technically it does resolve but the resolution is postponed a beat which does the job. And it also goes from the F/A to the F# in the bass which only adds to the tension before resolving, I especially love this in the last chorus where the toms come back in, it creates a beautiful momentum! So many tasty details hidden here and the production is absolutely fantastic too! The jury’s got to appreciate that. Great reaction/review! :)
"Die Together" is an emotional ballad written by Amanda herself together with Bjørn Helge Gammelsæter. Amanda Georgiadis Tenfjord lives in Norway and is of Greek heritage. She was born in Ioannina in Greece and moved to Tenfjord in Norway with her family at the age of 3.🇬🇷💙
I loved the song ,well arranged, well sung, emotional and apparently so sweet : not exactly "greek" as atmosphere except for the hangin over "tragedy" in the lyrics. A love crisis as in the Italian song with a scandinavian chill in the intro and a greek emotional chorus with a omen of tragic solution. Very European !😍
This song is the definition of the word “𝙢𝙖𝙨𝙩𝙚𝙧𝙥𝙞𝙚𝙘𝙚”. Amanda’s vocals are heavenly amazing and the build-up from bridge to final chorus is pure art. Plus the fact that the song is not only about love but also related to what’s happening in the world right now (corona virus, war)and shows the pain we all experienced the recent years. The song is really lovely but... why She sings in English? I have to assume that Greek is not her native language otherwise is wrong not sing in her mother tongue.
ERT had approached around another 20 Greek singers for eurovision 2022. Then the singers submitted their songs to ERT (almost all of them were based in Greece) and the best song happened to be from Amanda. They didn't choose Amanda because she is based in Norway lol. And in general the Greek diaspora loves Eurovision (see helena paparizou she is from Sweden, Loukas Yorkas (2010) was born and raised in Germany, Kalomira (2008) was born and raised in USA, Sarbel (2007) was born and raised in the UK etc). Thank you so much for your reaction to my country's entry to the ESC this year, but "a huge change of direction for Greece"? Come on love, Greece is... notorious for the huge variety of its song genres in the contest, no other country's entries have ever had the variety of sounds the greek songs do. And this actually reflects the fact that there is absolutely no country in the whole world, where so many different genres of music are produced and cherished other than Greece. Just have a quick look to our entries to the contest and i think you will definitely agree with me. I just need to remind you a quite recent greek eurovision song, and that is "better love" in the year 2019, which was brutally underrated like almost all songs of Greece to this contest, which has unfortunately turned to a platform for promotion of political ideas in a broad sense than rewarding good music. Thank you again and wish you a recovery of your headaches soon!
Refreshing to see a review like this and happy to see the song left an impression on you :) I agree with you that the drumbeat, in general, isn't the most interesting on its own. HOWEVER, I really do think it doesn't matter too much here because the drumming is so hard-hitting. Being such a vocal-reliant song, the drumming really isn't focused on for its pattern but instead of just how it fills up the sound-stage. If you'd isolate the drums of the track they'd, sure, not be very engaging rhythmically but they're just so loud and packed with punch and I really think that suits this song so well because it has quite a minimalistic instrumental otherwise. I hope you see where I'm coming from too haha :) Still, I get your standpoint completely. But to me, it hits JUST right!
Aw thank you :) I see your point. Idk I just would have preferred less snare, and more kick drum to change up the pattern a bit. But it is vocal reliant and that is my favourite element by far of the song 🎵

Hello, May I share an Old Testament Verse with you from Daniel 7:14 "And there was given him dominion, and glory, and a Kingdom, that all people, nations, and languages, should SERVE Him; his dominion is an Everlasting dominion, which shall not pass away, and his kingdom shall not pass away, and His Kingdom that which shall not be destroyed." God the Father loves you so much that He sent Holy Sinless Jesus (His Holy Son) to earth to be born of a virgin. Then, to grow up & die on a cross for our sins. He was in the tomb for 3 days, then Father God raised Holy and Sinless Jesus Christ (Y'shua) to Life! He appeared to people and went back to Heaven. We must receive Sinless Jesus sincerely to be God's child(John 1:12).After we get saved by grace through faith in Christ, if we truly love the Lord Jesus Christ, then we will obey Jesus(John 14:15). Mark 1:15 "And saying, the time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand: Repent ye, and believe the gospel." Jesus said in John 14:15 "If you love Me, keep My commandments. "There's a real hell. It says in Revelation 21:8 "But for the cowardly, & unbelieving, and abominable, & murderers, & immoral persons sorcerers & idolaters & all liars, their part will be in the lake that burns with fire & brimstone..." Please sincerely receive Holy Jesus and put your true faith and trust in Him today & please repent. Will you have a Real encounter with Holy Lord Jesus (Y'shua is His Hebrew Name) & stay in a Genuine relationship with Him daily please?
Hi There . Can I have an opposite opinion as a Greek??? If Greece comes first this year, I will be very very surprise . Where are perform songs like "Molitva"(Serbia) , " Rise like a phoenix", (Austria), "Euphoria" ? I want to hear and see performers like Carola (Sweden) , or Loreen. Sorry , Lyrics are so sad . The song Is very ordinary. Nothing against Amanda, besides we are from the same town here in Greece. But .......
sometimes songs that are good on audio are not so good life like netherlands. audio is great but when i saw her performing it was not so good. and greece is the same. i liked italy and sweden and portugal so far
I was surprised about your surprise that this wasn't a typical Greek entry. She is Norwegian, with very little Greek influences. Her music style is going to be extremely different, which is probably why they picked her. They realised she had Greek heritage, listened to her back catalogue and asked her. And what would rather do, be selected to go straight to ESC with full creative control of this song, or go through the impossible hell that is Melodi Grand Prix?

Sorry but I don't hook to that one maybe because it's not my style.
For me the song doesn't go anywhere. Pleasant but not exceptional. That's my assessment of it. I don't think this will do well, but who knows?
what have they done to her voice it sounds metallic its awful
