- Don’t Starve Together is an uncompromising wilderness survival game full of science and magic. At least... it used to be. With characters growing more powerful and the game getting easier over the years, one might question just how 'uncompromising' the game really is.
This playthrough - along with all other content on this channel, revolves entirely around the 'Uncompromising Mode' mod. The mod is designed with the "Goal of revitalizing the difficulty of Don't Starve Together for long-term veterans of the game," and it does so spectacularly. I will be playing through the entirely of the game through Uncompromising Mode, defeat every single boss, and showcase, highlight, and discuss many of its features.
This is the second 'All Bosses' run of the channel. We will be playing and exploring WX-78 next, as he has recently received one of the largest character rebalances out of all other survivors.

this series is just so wonderfully paced, in an era where most of dst youtube is cocaine-fueled meme compilations or 3-hour no commentary videos these videos really feel like a breath of fresh air. you've got something really good here

As a Wx78 main and working on a circuit expansion mod seeing how UM changes everything makes Wx seem 100x more fun to play and gives me new ideas for new circuits

the passing rite for uncomp players is killing an uncompromising catcoon without getting hit

The Catcoon grind for those beautiful goggles is... a pain. Luckily in solo worlds you just need 4 tails. Another annoying thing about them is that they respawn remembering that you once attacked.... and they'll be instant aggro on site. That's why my prefer method is recruiting pig men and starting to hit but canceling before that so that the pig men tank the damage, take the aggro, and I get to remain neutral to cats! It's just annoying when days are so short in winter, so you gotta try in autumn for it to not suck.

Maybe, but probably not. I have too many things planned after this series, but I might have a vote for the next character to do a series on. If that happens, it will be many months from now.

@@INeedANames noo really, this mode was makes more thing too easy and something nearly impossible, developer should make a balance patch for that
@@newmaker62 Maybe some things, but I've always struggled more in UM than vanilla.
