I had just came from a rather upsetting video regarding a vehicle crash in Chicago, the criminal scum that stole the vehicle got away with it, Scott free. a little infant, not even a year old didn’t survive. Needless to say I was made as hell, this video calmed me down enough to get my head straight. There is still beauty in this world. Just have to stay positive.

seems like he’s a ticked tabby based on his face and tail markings! it’s a rly pretty coat type & standard for breeds like the abyssinian and somali cats but i rarely see it in regular domestic shorthairs

@@kweenkitten6207 The term “American shorthair” is just a generalization as is “tuxedo cat”. Those aren’t breed specific terms. So I’ve got my work cut out for myself!

When I was a little girl, I rescued a big tomcat from a dog that had it cornered in the bushes outside my bedroom window. This cat looks and sounds just like him. That was eons ago, but still a wonderful memory of a great cat. We called him "Ma-ah" jokingly because that was his meow. He loved waking me up at 4 in the morning by rubbing his cheeks on my face HARD! He did it so hard that the inside of his cheek would drag all over my face. What an awesome cat.

Its funny because, the kibble that my dad gets from the hardware store, these 8 oz pouches of dry cat food, it has a mountain lion on it. And i give it to an orange cat that tussles with a Chihuahua daily 😂 he definately thinks he a little mountain lion

Me too. I miss my Patchy. She's been gone over 13 years now but I still have dreams about her and think about her all the time. She was so affectionate. I have no idea what she liked about me so much but she thought I was just perfect.

Weird complement, but I appreciate that Archie's collar doesn't jingle. A lot of people don't realize how annoying bells must be to cats- they have such sensitive ears!

Depends on the purpose of the collar. I’ve left the bells on my cats harnesses because I walk them in my yard which if full of wildlife that I want to give fair warning. (Also the kittens associate the bells with fun so they know to come and get harnessed up when they hear them.) Totally unnecessary for indoors.
@@tethergobrrr Exactly, the bell isn't for the cat, it's for the birds it's constantly trying to murder when you let your cats be "outdoor cats" a.k.a. "I don't really care if my cat gets eaten by coyotes, hit by a car, fights another cat and contracts FIV," etc.
Good people like this who keep their good kitties inside don't need bells :)
@@tethergobrrr My cat wears a bell inside when we go visit relatives. She moves so quietly people don't always see her, I think it's safer for her and the people, the cat doesn't get trampled and people don't trip on her. Also she's easier to find in the house that way.

Now that kitty definitely looks like a mountain lion. A friendly purry human-loving puma that is. I had a large cat that showed up out of the forest asking me to adopt him (which I did of course), who was what I call a blonde ginger like that. He was a big, tall and talkative boy too. Very sweet natured.

Same here - me too. Also I live alone. If I have to go into hospital, there'd be nobody who would take care of my cat. Same if I may travel. Nobody there to feed her.

Why thank you! Archie reminds me of my cat Sean, similar build but he's grey and I call him by whistling. He's a cuddler who likes to drape over my shoulder. I got him on Craigslist and it was the best deal I ever got! Pet Archie for me!
