I love to see this stuff. Been working on updating my binders to do something similar. I’ve been collecting master playsets which is tough in foil and non foil
I had a collection just as crazy as this, had sets of 4 of multiple legendaries, cold foils, etc. Unfortunately ever since heavy hitters collecting is just kind of ridiculous and I fell out of love with it. Sold my whole collection and just kept my decks. Game is amazing gameplay wise but it’s getting near MTG level with all its alternate art and promo stuff. Guess I just got to a point where I missed the early years. The game has to evolve though so I don’t hate what it’s doing it just no longer a collecting game for me.
There are a lot more cards from the early days I feel you. I think in UPR they had too many variants with the emperor for example but I think after that set they have dialed that down for what you pull in the box only has 2 variants. Yeah gameplay's really damn good and the competitive scene is probably the best out there. Still surprised how the market seems pretty asleep for these old cards.
@@Bronson-_- it’s a players game at the end of the day which is fine. I just miss when things used to be achievable. Now if I was to attempt to get everything during a set season (excluding gold foils) I’d be spending over 3-4k because of all the convention/calling/special promos. This isn’t even alpha early day stuff. It’s new promos that just have incredibly inflated prices. It’s all too much nowadays.
How is the bulk M buying working ao far? Any good cards you had/have that spiked a bit and maybe offered you to sell or trade some? Still gotta think back on this smart idea back then here and there quite frequently. Like if you bought tales ms under a bug some of them might have seen some quite drasticly moves over the last weeks. 💪 Much fun completing the alpha sets!!! Keep us updated ❤
For the bulk M's i'm thinking of making a video on that soon. Honestly have not sold any cards lol, been constantly acquiring for the last 3 years for like 15c to 25c range. I started listing some of the ones that spiked to $3 recently but will see what happens. I did have like 20 copies of tidemaw that I sold into the hype luckily but was not too deep there. I'll for sure give updates on it in the future to see how it pans out. It's for sure a super LONG game play and I don't expect to get my money back any time soon, but believe in the longevity of the game so will see how it goes.
