@@RabbitandMore getting more information from different farmers would help, e.g breed types for meat, how much feeds to give them ( too much greens lead to digestion issues). I will be asking more questions as I watch your videos. I'm also an aspiring rabbit farmer trying to learn as much as I can.

In two weeks I lost 32 rabbits. This morning I lost the remaining 3. Can they die from mosquito bites. I raise them in clean cages, administer antibiotics in the feed and water occasionally. They've been dull. Can that be a reason. My cages are meshed all round. Can that also factor on the cold since its all mesh and no plywood?

Hello. I just want to say that all the animal races come from inbreeding. So, if you want to create a new race, then you need to inbreed

@@RabbitandMore let me explain it shortly, even it is complex with heredity, Genetic etc. To create a new Race it takes many animals. Let me say you want to create a kind of rabbit with yellow-blue colors and ears one standing and one hanging. So you take sister, brothers, parents and breed them. You will get sick and death animals, also rabbits who are not fertile anymore. That is called inbreed-depression. Only a few will be healthy and fertile. And with that few you will continue to breed. I hope I explained it the way that's understandable?
Simple life, am also in Nigeria and wish to go into rabbittery anywhere to train in Nigerian, so one can understand their genetics so as to avoid casualty.
