I just finished my first run of PMD EOT and man that battle was so clutch - I stun seeded it, took a ginseng, buffed myself with curse to max, waited for my speed to return, gave my partner torchic a quick seed, limited Torchic to only using Fire Blast or Flamethrower, threw a vile seed at it to break it's paralysis and then spammed crunch until either of us were at low health, used a sleep seed on Dialga and finished him off
I didn't have seeds at all but I legitimately beat it first try. Haha.

Player took 124 damage!

I would have thrown my ds in the trash can and just try to comprehend of what just happened.
My strategy: Let my partner use flame thrower a bunch of times, and heal myself and my partner with oran berries everytime Dialga uses roar of time. If Dialga gets closer, use a seed to make it unable to move and spam my strongest move. Works every time.
Mwisd 1999 We used the same strategy then
I had recently learned Mirror Move, and was ecstatic to learn that I could reflect Roar of Time... unfortunately, my partner didn’t have the luxury of waiting for Dialga to kill itself.....

And a few asperins for the massive headache he'll get from some of the fights. Luxray, Dusknoir and Dialga were the bane of my existence.
I think I had it harder than pretty much anyone. I was WAY under leveled for this fight and I ran out of pretty much everything other than Oran berrys, and I was a STUPID child at the time (think I was maybe.....6) so since I ran out reviver seeds at the Dialga fight, I left the hidden land went back to the guild to grind for the seeds and other items I needed (it took me like 2-3 weeks irl to do this) and went BACK through the WHOLE ORDEAL JUST to have a chance to beat this guy.
I feel you - i decided to go for it once more after listening to this and i just saved the world yesterday. Still as epic as 10years earlier :0

I don’t think so. Explorers of Sky was a sister game to Explorers of Time and Darkness, just like Emerald was to Ruby and Sapphire. They’d probably make a Sky postgame, but the main story would be Time and Darkness.
As for Gates to Infinity, it’s not outdated enough yet
I just hope they don't forget about actually making new games. Alphadream did that with the Mario and Luigi games and now they've gone under.
If they do, I sure hope it’s not in the artsy style of the red and blue remakes. It’s take away from the gravity of the story.
@@Error-gz3pp Sky literally already is time/darkness main story with extra post game. If they did a remake it would probably follow explorers of sky. It's just time/darkness with extra stuff so no point removing it really other than to save time/cost.

This is literally the best freakin Pokemon game I've ever played! The story is so amazing, when Grovyle pushed Dusknoir into the portal “Though the parting hurts, the rest is in your hands” made me go into all teary eyes. This will forever be the best Pokemon game I played as a child.
Took a treeko partner on my first play and though that Grovyle was out partner from a future he either didn't meet us, or we die early , making the scenes with him ten times worse.
Thanks to the anime special, I can’t unhear Grovyle with Dan Green’s Voice and it fits absolutely perfectly for Grovyle as a Character!
This should be Dialga’s main theme in any game or movie or anything, like seriously, to me it is one of the two most iconic and nostalgic Pokémon theme, at least out of the games (the other being “Don’t Ever Forget” from PMD)

Funny thing on my end is I never actually heard the original, probably because I was playing Riolu, found TMs for BOTH swords dance and focus punch, and OHKO'd Dialga.

Dialga22239 I’d say this is one of the most accurate and close to the original, at least from what I’ve seen.
Ok time to analyze this. The remaster makes it sound a little calmer. In my opiniln it doesn't even take away from the epicness and the tension, but it ads to the emotional value of the situation. Ok that was more of my opinion than an analysis. Sounds freakin amazing either way
personally with the tougher percussion and higher quality overall sound it's far more intense for me although the originals have that old age quality to it
I chose Eevee as my partner and lemme tell you. That was a huge mistake.
Not really, I loaded my eevee and my partner shinx with gummies, give eevee dig and dialga is a joke xD, legit didn't even use roar of time once with how strong we were. Just get good moves and get drunk off gummies lol

@@duskyer2391 oohh yea. True but the leader being eevee gives it the ability adaptability so it's normal attacks like tackle hit alot harder than most other pokemon. Won't have runaway if your the leader eevee.
Mostly play with eevee as partner if ya wanna play hard mode lol
It gets so much easier when Eevee learns Quick Attack. Now it can abuse Adaptability while you protect them.
I've cleared the story with three different Eevee partners and that move has been crucial for all of them.

Even from being corrupted, you can feel the honor in the theme Dialga itching for a fight either in his final battle or to battle again for Dialga's excitement for battles

Technically no. In Japan, Primal Dialga was called 'Dark Dialga'. It was changed so we wouldn't confuse it with the dark type, which is 'evil' in Japan.

It was before the remakes. Nonetheless Primal Dialga is the best primal. It should return in the Sinnoh remakes...whenever we get them.

when, not if.............. WHEN they do that they have to make sure at least palkia doesnt get left out there and "maybe" giratina as well............ plus their respective orbs could be used as a catalyst to trigger the primal reversion just like with kyogre/groudon

The music takes me back...This was such a memorable, climactic fight. Not only was the tower itself daunting, you knew as you ascended what awaited at the top: the colossal, indomitable Dialga, the embodiment of time itself, on the border of madness. If you hadn't depleted your reviver seeds during the climb, they weren't going to last long here, and even your strongest moves hardly scratched Dialga's Dragon/Steel typing. No matter what you did, it was a pitched battle...
Unless you hit him with a stun seed, ramped your damage output with stat moves, put him to sleep, and went to town-then you could take him in a couple hits, but-
I havent even played this game but I feel an intense nostalgia for something that wasn't there. I need to play this game.
It's really good, I got mine back in 2011 from a church kid out of all people. You'll have lots of fun, it's hard though.

Holy shit, you nailed it ! Of all the remasters of this theme I've found this is by far the best. It manages to keep the feeling of the original while also modernising it, to great effect.
Riolu and eevee: you see we are breaking down "stun seed" upside down so master of time gets in a infinite loop.
The best final boss in a non-mainstream Pokemon game. Good work, my dude.

Dialga has just so much personality is this game compared to the mainline games. It’s really it’s own thing and not just a part of a duo like he is in the mainline games. I love it so much and makes him way more unique.

This song in general somehow causes me physical pain from how good it is. This masterpiece takes that song and makes it even better.
Stun locking it with various Seeds is actually the only way to beat it without wanting the sweet embrace of death.

It was so triumphant herring this song again on my second playthrow of this game after years of never being able to beat Dialga. I Rembered my original team who fell to darkness. And i knew my newest team must Save the SKY!
It would have been cool if thry had included some sort of clock ticking sound into the track to represent how they are running out of time to save Temporal Tower and Dialga, but also since Dialga is literally the god of time.

The most emotional fight in the game captured so well here. The most memorable song in the game, for a reason.

I can actually see Mystery Dungeon Primal Dialga's color pallette being used for shiny (or even normal) Primal Dialga for Diamond/Pearl remakes. Just like Primal Groudon and Primal Kyogre are all black instead of lime green and pink, respectively.

The things about these mystery dungeon games that many today can’t hold a candle to...is it makes you feel for every character you meet, I still remember feeling the betray, the shock of who the true hero was...and more so the dlc mission when they thought they were going to go away.
PMD games at least in my eyes the first two ones is what got me to be a writer, and see games as not just simple games, but a adventure a story
