We'd passed through Pueblo Zuni several times years earlier. Each time, we noticed the peaceful nature of the community and its people. On this occasion we stopped in at the Zuni Visitor Center and spent some time with a local tour guide and former archaeologist...

@@jmark7390 Pretty sure there are lots of different versions of the story. In terms of contemporary stuff, it was sad to learn how the Pueblo had been cut off from their water supply by an upstream community. Hopefully such issues will be addressed in the future.

Native Americans make reference to "Star People", "Ant men" etc. European cultures miss the boat on this with the exception of Plato's Atlantis -- a now pretty well established advanced antediluvian culture that may prove to be behind many of these and other myths.
