Biffa, the water situation counts the water supply from cupton blu that isnt connected to kettlewick, so you see the supply as high but the supply to only kettlewick is below the demand
IT'S MEEEE, lettts goooo, thank you for picking my suggestion!! I remember when I used to live in Perth and they had Scone Palace, running around the maze was fun when I was a kid and seeing all the Peacocks running about as well.
Please please create a British new town, based on a Scottish new town. Awful brutalist centre, massive hospital, unsuitably small train station - huge bus station, surrounded by small ugly council houses and then nice big houses on the outside. And call it Tunnocks after Tunnocks Teacakes. And IrnBru lane, Tablet bus station, Crannachan (the nice part), Soor Plooms estate, etc. etc.
The pond was great, reminded me of a childhood park. Certainly gives the church character. Maybe a well manicured pond could go well with a manor house?
You could build a massive roundabout with pedestrian underpasses with footpaths that make an X in the centre. You could call it the Hot Cross Bun Roundabout
Really loving the sarcastic social commentary about Britain within this series 😂 the lack of parking around the retirement complex... Absolutely nailed on... Every time I go visit my grandparents, I'm met with that very problem. That build is absolutely nailed on. The style of building, the separate complex that's walled off so others can't make use of the open spaces. Just needs a supermarket next door and a little shopping complex. Bus stop outside is also a must so the oldies can make use of their bus pass.
This is such a fabulous little town. It's like an animal farm, with its rural charm in the country. Also, health first (including that of your family), channel later. Thanks for letting us know what's going on, we'll understand.
2:19 I've seen a roundabout like that before, but the exit instead of a road to a train station, it was a one-track road (I often refer to them as country roads).
These houses (at 09:45) would be perfect for a farming land area. The house you deleted would really be perfect for a farming area. It almost looks like a barn.
Love the videos again. Great new on your dad. But you build the retirement homes to have a lovely view of the river, then waked to massive trees in front of the view. 😂
I'm glad your dad is doing very well, Biffa. I'm also glad that you're doing Saturday CS2 again. I think it seems much better and natural for the game to be on this day... 😏
Glad to hear your father's operation went okay. My dad had to go to hospital for an op on his gall bladder - not only has been better, it also helped him to make a key decision in his life for his health in regards to alcohol; he now no longer has any more beers, just soft drinks. Which I am happy to see him keep doing; alongside the occasional cup of tea or two when he comes to visit me and my sister! I hope you and your dad share a brew during his recovery! 🫖🍵
Hi Biffa, love the series, I was wondering if you intend to add any older church or Castles/ruins or any national trust type nature parks/reserves, I love how Kettlewick is evolving but some areas do look like very modern 'new build' areas and an old historic section would give a more UK vibe
With the care homes, you could role-play it where the company(s) running the care home are called Biffa Care or something like that? i know i used your channel name, i hope it's ok to do that. We could just imagine that all of the care homes are run by the same care company
11:06 I heard Katowice pronounced perfectly there instead of Kettlewick, well done! I'd say you need more public transport, and your water supply is not connected together so there is a deficit in Kettlewick but not in CB
I see you renamed the bus station on Jaffa Cake Crescent to something chocolatey, so I was thinking, why not rename the new railway station on Pleasant Street; maybe even Pleasant Street itself? I was thinking call it Snickers Street, so all the passengers who arrive at the station hear the train driver announce "We are now arriving at Snickers Street Station"! 🫖
Hi Biffa I wish you all the best for your family and your dad... I really like those new water tiles. I think that´s one of the best inventions wich was just been missing all the time. Even in Cities Skylines 1. I hope they can use it in a functional use in the future...like for the ferry boat passengers. To not do that lemming jump anymore...deepdive into the ferry boat. And I would love to see those posh houses in a NOT wall to wall condition...
Hi biffa! I had a suggestion of adding an area in the future, or putting it in an existing area, a big football stadium! (Soccer) It is mod called more parks I believe! Love the content!
Are there any tiny little medical centers you could squeeze into your retirement complex? They often have assisted care and things like that which could perhaps be represented by a little doctors surgery on site ;)
I know this city is designed around uk confection. What about making an area that looks like the Austin Village in Birmingham. Using places like this, the village was for the workers of the Austin plant in Longbridge made of cedar Bungalows and brick fire break houses. 26:58
😁 Like the compactness of the EE pack, far more economical buildings. But the education nightmare is pretty temporary if you just let the city play out because the population will get to a point, if you have enough jobs present that there will be less kids more adults. That is my experience when I can get CS2 to run more than an hour at a time to churn out the algorithms. CS1 was far more stable and I could let run while I was at work and what not. Now I walk away and return to find my PC I'm sitting at a desktop an hour later and no error messages to tell me why. BTW hope Dad is OK. Lost mine a few years ago. P.S. Think the game crashing is triggered by the autosave function when making too many complex changes to the city. Cannot confirm nor deny, it just feels that way. Doesn't seem to happen when I turn autosave off. But who would do that?!
@33:00 could it be the water pipes function the same as electricity, and you may need more pipes to the water tower instead of just the one? havent had that happen to me yet, but your builds are way more involved :P thx biffa!
you mentioned the parking not being enough for everyone over where my girlfriends parents live they have like 5 cars and they are always parking in front of other peoples houses its like whyyy should be a limit on how many cars you can have in the city
I feel that changing the colours on those eastern European houses makes them look very bland and samey. I think it'd look nicer if they kept their original colours, as you could pretend it's a close knit migrant community or something.
I understand the fact that you love to decorate, But why would you put in A lake then proceed to completely surround it in trees and bushes so no one can see it. Also your water towers need more than one pipe leading from them its trying to feed all the buildings through that one line. With more of A net coverage it should balance out pressure.
Biffa, the water situation counts the water supply from cupton blu that isnt connected to kettlewick, so you see the supply as high but the supply to only kettlewick is below the demand
18:24 YES!!!!! The abandoned trollies!!!! A UK tradition is now in Kettlewick!! ❤ Biffa

Thanks for the idea! 👍☺️

(Canadian here) isn't Scone where they used to hold the coronations for Scottish kings? Also, I keep wanting to spell it "Scoon"
@Volcanix_Games biffa lol showing ur age a bit there brother

Great, that Dad's op was a success. Best wishes to him & your family for a full, speedy recovery.
Much appreciated ☺️
31:35 someone's been anarchy-ing in roads again... got pathways running across the junction.
"Bungalow"... - That's a Dacha, mate! :)

Thanks and great ideas to add too, will make a note :-)
27:40 that one could be someone that owns the other ones and look after the other homes, like a caretaker or something

Always great when another episode of Kettlewick drops! Thanks Biffa :D
My pleasure!

The name for the castle area was almost perfect. It should be empire biscuit island

Best wishes to your father mate. The idea of a stately home park with a Capability Brown garden, something like Chatsworth, sounds great
Thankyou 🙏
Love the videos again. Great new on your dad. But you build the retirement homes to have a lovely view of the river, then waked to massive trees in front of the view. 😂
You can never rely on a view lasting forever! 😅
Biffa, the "grey estate" could be warden controlled with the red brick residence that has the fancier garden being the warden's residence.

Such great infill developments to the city. I really like the retirement villages.
Awesome lil lake, now it only needs a place to park my car everytime I visit my mum ❤️🙏🏼
Hi Biffa, loving the Kettlewick videos, just wanted to suggest recolouring your postal service and post boxes red for the extra British touch
We need an engitopia kettlewick collab

Your PC must be from NASA to be able to play this game, at 60 fps, with mods, record it and everything is so smooth!

A proper golfcourse would be nice. The tournament could be called the Oreo open
The Lilly’s in the pond look like a fish you should add a small hole for the eye 😂

Seeing as the oldies love a Worthers Original how about “Worther’s Way” for one of the retirement roads?
7:18 My new retention pond! Yay!
Great progress - Could you make the OAP bungalows a Gated Community and maybe give the oldies access to buses ?
Good idea :-)

glad youre back and glad to hear your dad is doing ok ☕
Great video, always enjoy watching with a cup of tea and a digestive
I love this series! And the weekend haha! We can always rely on biffa for the best of Uk builds and other builds for CS2!
Glad you enjoy it! Thankyou 🙏
The unused roundabout at the JCC bus station is driving me crazy…

Can a pub be a bar? A Heath bar?🍫
4:51 Well I'm a gamer?
Good stuff! Some cozy midnight viewing
☺️
Hey Biffa I have a 2 for 1 name for a district in your city.. its "Chocolaty Chai Meadows"
It's both Chocolate and Tea😂😂
Ooooh!
Battenberg Barracks for the historical site :D
😁 Retired, every day is the same!

beautiful city. i end up deleting all my saves because they look ugly
Thankyou. Many years of practice and I've totally deleted many things that never see the light of day 👍
@33:00 could it be the water pipes function the same as electricity, and you may need more pipes to the water tower instead of just the one? havent had that happen to me yet, but your builds are way more involved :P thx biffa!
Some roads don't have water pipes so maybe all water towers are not connected, causing a shortage in some areas.
I'll need to check that, thankyou 👍
The well to do retirees should have access to a park and possibly a pool for their aquatic exercise lessons. What do you think?
There is an indoor pool 👍😅
21:30 you can use normal road just to lower max speed in raoadbuilder
I can’t be the only one who thinks the bungalow area looks like a campsite/traveller park
you mentioned the parking not being enough for everyone over where my girlfriends parents live they have like 5 cars and they are always parking in front of other peoples houses its like whyyy should be a limit on how many cars you can have in the city
I really want you to upgrade your buildings🏢
It would really be great 😊!
Biffa, there is an intersection that's visible at 31:25 that you need to fix.
Do/did you work as a landscape architect for your day job? You really have an eye for park/garden design in this game haha
I haven't! CSL1 and CSL2 taught me everything I know :-)
Maybe is better move all the trash containers away from windows. There is a lot of space at the wall corner far from houses
That window leads to the plant room, so all good 😅
The bridge at the landfill looks a little bit low mate
Whenever you mention something being ‘EE’ I keep thinking you are talking about the phone company
You could also built a RINGROAD LIKE THE M25
please make a horse racing track in kettlewick that would look soo british
I feel that changing the colours on those eastern European houses makes them look very bland and samey. I think it'd look nicer if they kept their original colours, as you could pretend it's a close knit migrant community or something.
4:16 but the smell is still there, if you want to be realistic
Can we get a food van or two in the industrial part of the town please
Since this is A British build city. The castle should be castle anthrax. It's a perilous place. Dated from the time of Arthur King of t he Britons.
For some reason the EE pack won’t work it downloads installs then keeps saying it won’t sync,an the build is coming on a treat 👍
Nice Video!
Thanks!
Damn 1 min. reply
