Jason Sudeikis Reveals What Son Otis’ Calls ‘Ted Lasso’s Roy Kent

Access Hollywood’s Zuri Hall caught up with some of the biggest winners of the night following the 2021 Emmy Awards. Jason Sudeikis who won two Emmys for “Ted Lasso” revealed his 7-year-old son Otis has a special nickname for the show’s character Roy Kent which is played by Brett Goldstein. “My little boy Otis calls Roy Kent, ‘King of F’.” He added, “We listened to a lot of 90s’ Hip-hop before he started repeating words, so he knows the word, he knows what ‘F’ stands for and he says, ‘King of F.’”

This is definitely the best interview I’ve seen Jason give regarding Ted Lasso. He tends to stay vague. He also doesn’t tend to remain so chipper during interviews-he’s so giddy here I love to see it!! Yes, he did just win two emmys, but he wasn’t as open or laughy/happy in thenother post-show interviews I’ve seen!! Well done Zuri!!!!
