GOSH I miss Turkish ravioli!!! my mouth is watering... (btw - yogurt)... and Pide is pronounced pee-day...thats all I have to say for now..I'm just all about the FOOD in Turkey (and the people. Sorry you didn't have more time there) .. Happy Travels!
You guys should come and spend some time in Istanbul too. It'd be super nice to watch those vlogs. And there'll be plenty of great baklava to enjoy :))
The gf and I are excited to hear that you are getting back to “Van Life”. Those are the episodes that stand your videos apart from all the other travel pieces on TH-cam. Your "Do Your Own thing" approach, the ups and downs and viewing each area as a local. Although, I am not sure the target audience is going to be large enough. We loved the travel segments on Emirates and Turkish airlines, Maldives scuba diving, Dubai Frame Visit and open market shopping. While well done and liked by my gf Andrea, I thought the two episodes in Italy were on the “touristy” side. Stuff that anyone could do. Probably a bigger target audience though... Hope you appreciate the honest feedback! Let's think snow!!!!
Love this feedback Leo thank you!! We’re torn with the van because we have lots of family events coming and holidays so it’s tough to get in the van and leave … not sure when the next full time vanlife trip is. Our current goal is get to 30 countries before we turn 30 so 7 more before we turn 30 in May!
How was the food? The word on the streets is that the food on TA has gone WAY downhill since it came back this year. Also, how was service? Were they good about coming around to refill wine during dinner? Receptive during flight attendant call button?
We didn’t do the call button but FA’s were pretty good and friendly, they accommodated us well when my seat tray had an issue. Food was just ok dinner was way better than breakfast!! We’d fly them again though for sure! Only 45k miles each!
I very much enjoyed these outside of the van videos. It was nice to see different places and cool planes. Maybe take a van trip in Europe? Your video and audio production is very good which makes watching a pleasure. Personally, I would like to see a bit less focus on food. How do you stay so fit when you eat so much? 😜 Looking forward towards the next journey. Thanks!
Nice Vlog and let me guve you a small infornation about the Bagle . The „Turkish Bagle“ called SIMiT is the Grandfather from the „American Bagle“ because Bagle is come to US from Jewish people what came from Eastern Europe what was at this time Ottoman Empire .
APPARENTLY YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER SEEN THE MOVIE MIDNIGHT EXPRESS, I THINK THAT WHAT IT WAS CALLED, THE WHOLE MOVIE WAS ABOUT A GUY WHO WAS TRAPPED IN TURKEY, THROWN IN A TURKISH PRISON AND AND TORTURED THE WHOLE MOVIE, TAYLOR COULD PLAY HIS GIRL FRIEND AND KEVIN COULD PLAY THE GUY WHO GETS TORTURED THE WHOLE MOVIE BUT FINALLY ESCAPES.........THAT MOVIE WAS UNFORGETTABLE....... THAT WAS A LONG TIME AGO, NOW NEWARK LOOKS MORE BACKWARD THAN TURKEY, WHAT A JOKE, AND THE GUY IN THE MOVIE GOT CAUGHT ON A DRUG DEAL, IN THIS MOVIE, KEVIN COULDN'T GET ANY BAKLAVA.............OH WELL, I GUESS TIMES ARE CHANGING...

@@MathersOnTheMap It was a great trip. Vegetable Carole seems interesting to me though. it is a preheated meal right?
@@technigadgetspartners2241 yep id imagine so!!
Turkish ravioli= MANTI. Not sour cream, lol. Yogurt. Bagel=SIMIT. Most popular breakfast street food in Turkey.

Next time do try the sea bass, I can tell you without a doubt it was the best sea food dish I've had on a plane :)

Are you happy now you mentioned about this movie?
Very silly people. God Bless. Baklava is GREEK.
I don’t know Keith it could be originated in Turkey 🤷🏼♂️🤷🏼♂️ finance.yahoo.com/news/baklava-where-does-come-210311245.html
Originally belongs to Ottoman Empire Time. Greek people seriously should quit stealing everything from Turkey!
Your so funny Karen 😂
Keith BEFORE writing such a clueless comment you might want to do some research on the subject. You just portray ignorance.
