    First of all, brilliant work. I aspire to have similar work one day. In regard to shading with oils: I notice that you use two brushes, one to apply the paint, and another to smooth the blend. Two questions, are brushes for blending dry, or do they have spirits on them? Also, do you use a different brush for each color? Cheers!

      Thank you very much, John.
      The flat brush is always dry. When is dirty I use a new one.
      No, I don´t use different brush for each colour. Only when I paint white and the flat brush is too dirty to start white tones. So I take a new one.

      Each color should be diluted. It helps me spread the paint better on the surface.

    Amazing work. I am wondering, can you use the flat brush blending/smoothing technique with AV acrylic paints too, or is this something best for oils.

      @milandufek8151  2 ปีที่แล้ว

      This painting technique is only for oil colours. Because you have time for blending...

    Hi Milan. Superb! Inspirational videos. May I ask, the brush paints are oils? Thanks

      Hi Geoff, yes, I usually paint oils over acrylic base. My oils are Rembrand, W&N, Blockx, Mussini etc.
