If your worried about getting bucked otb, slow the rebound on your rear shock way down. A good starting point is to turn it to as slow as it will go, then give it 3 clicks to the fast side
Looks like you’re doing fine. Having fun is the key (sounds dumb but true). Not getting hurt also important. Don’t go too heavy on the front brake in corners and try to slow down BEFORE the corner helps from sliding out too. Cool video tho!👍
There is some good info on rebound settings already in the comments. The only other thing I would suggest is taking your time and sessioning some of it. My friends and I love group rides and they will often have me tow them in, for the right speed, and then we will film and go back and review. Talk a bit about technique and approach after reviewing video then hike back up and do it again. Having a more skilled or even more knowledgeable rider to follow really helps with approach and speed. If you are worried specifically about getting bucked otb I'd suggest a neutral pedal position and practice smooth compression of the suspension, your "preload", on takeoff. As you start to lift the front wheel ease your weight rear and get your butt behind the seat/dropper and over the rear wheel. If you have the correct speed coming down a little front heavy is totally ok with these tabletops because the declining slope actually matches the front wheel angle of a front end heavy landing nicely. If you are too slow you'll case it, which isn't really a big deal either on a table top. (It's why table tops were designed and what they help you learn!) In any case good luck and keep riding! I'll be out on those trails myself in the morning. Hope to run into you out there sometime!! :)
Nice and smooth, well done video thx!
